Yeah fur cool air!

The big old noisy box that blows cool air into the house quit working
last week, and my sisfurs and I have been ROASTING during the day! The
temperature here has been over 100 degrees Furinheit, so the hous has
been really hot too.

Today my purrpaw stayed home to work on his comppter and help the
landlord fix the cool air box. Now we haz cool air again! YEAH! I was
almost starting to envy my little brofur Silent Sammy with his short coat.

We don't have a cool air box. An itz bin 100 here too in Catafurnia. Da
downstairs stayz cooler so Ize goes in meowmies office wen da fan is on.
My stoopid sissifur stayz upstairz where itz hot hot hot.

Oh no! We're in Catifurnia too - you have my purfound sympathy. Those
fans help some, when when you're a longhaired kitty they just don't help
enough, do they?

My older sisfur Amelia has been spending the morning outside, in the
sun. Silly kitty!

Oh, yeth! I'z heard lots about West Furginia - my purrpaw used to spend
lots of time in Summersville, and meowmie used to live near Wheeling
when she worked on the newspaper there.

It sounds furry beootiful there. We only have two seasons in Califurnia
- green (last about a month) and brown (the rest of the year). I'd luv
to 'port over and visit you and your sibling furcats.

We live down here in Furrlorida, where it's hot, sunny, and tropical for
most of the year. We also have central air conditioning, which runs all the
time, and is kept on a frosty 70 degrees for optimum comfurt (in Meowmie
Debby's opinion)

We fangu fur yur kind hospitality, but izint it a bit wet in West
Furginia frum da hurricane? Ize dont like water at all. Sides, itz much
kooler tonite. Furry cumfurtable in da windoze.

We have what purrpaw calls a "swamp cooler" (though I haven't seen any
swamps nearby, and I can't imagine why anyone would want to cool one),
and it runs about 20 hours a day.

Just the one on the roof. That's why it was so hot when it got broked.
And why I was so happy when it got fixed!

Now I can lay in the cool air and let it ruffle my long black kitten fur
