meal time??????

Hey guys,

How do you guys serve your cat's meal to him/her, do you put it on a raised
platform or leave on completely on the floor?

I use a flat stainless steel dish that sits on the floor. When I used a
stainless steel bowl on a platform, she would pick the food out and eat it
on the floor. Then I got smart and put the bowl directly on the floor.
Turned out to be not so smart because she still picked the food out and ate
it on the floor. I finally got wise to the bowl problem and tried meat
trays (it was experiment, hence the washed meat trays which I disposed of
regularly) on a platform but same problem. Finally, put the trays on the
floor and no more problem! When I finally figured out what worked, I
splurged (not really splurged--it was only $1.39 Cdn) on the stainless steel
plate.

What was the question? I seem to have rambled on and on and on.... :-) I
would prefer putting her food on a platform, but since she doesn't like it,
I put it on the floor. Whatever works best for her works for me, too!

dog won't eat it. :)

Usually their canned food goes on a plate which goes on the floor. When
feeding large pieces of raw chicken on the bone, which will end up on
the floor anyway, I just plop the meat down and let 'em at it.

Water in a large dog sized bowl. I have ceramic tile floors and just wash
the mess with a paper towel after meals.
