My little Princess will be 14 tomorrow and I would be greatful for any
purrs and prayers for her. She has had a very rough week - she has
had a reaction to the thyroid medicine that she was taking for almost
two months. She is eating much better now and hopefully will gain
some weight.

I am in the process of trying to find a good competent vet that can
treat her thyroid problem and anything else that comes up with an
older cat. My vet of over 30 years retired in April and sold his
practice to a young vet and I'm not feeling very comfortable with his
treatment of my babies.

Thank you so much.

Happy purrsday to Princess.
I am also trying to get Rusty to put on some weight.
Good luck in finding another vet. Just today I am thinking of taking
Rusty
to another vet.

I hope you can find a good vet to take care of Princess.

Sending purrs for both Princess and for you.

Happy birthday purrs on the way. Also purrs for you search for a new
vet.

Every time I take someone to TED these days I miss Ol' Doc Haney, who
took such good care for the girls and Rocky in the old days. I guess
the new vet is OK, and seems to be good with the animals. But, an
older, more experienced, vet just seems to inspire more confidence.
Also, Dr Haney didn't mind waiting for payment - and those vet bills
can mount up fast, especially since there seems to be a rule for no
one to get sick until money is tight.

As I always say I dread the day when Kylie goes back to Australia- I
may have to emigrate! Seriously I do have a reserve vet lined up at
another nearby practice recommended by a couple of local catslaves but
she's just so good even Sarsi behaves for aunt Kylie
