No, John Doe's just the brainy one who keeps reposting the flood post,
saying, 'look everyone, they're flooding us again and this what they wrote
in case you missed it the first time' or, if he forgot to turn what little
is left of his brain on, simply adds 'troll'.

You are diving right in here, aren't you?

John is the classic usenet kook, i.e., one whose posting habits make
no sense to anyone but himself.

That is so funny (in a sad way). You have no clue about what is
going on. The person you replied to is one of the malicious
trolls who has been doing the flooding. Look at his post header.

The malicious trolls love people like you, people who are quick to
judge with too little information. In fact, they get ignorant
people like you and the following poster (Charlie Wilkes) into
trouble here on usenet, I have seen it happen. The malicious
trolls lead you like sheep. I guess you deserve it sometimes. The
problem I have with your ignorance is that eventually you'll be
crying (like sheep) to authority to regulate things around here,
and I much prefer freedom of speech.

Or maybe your Internet service provider already censors your
USENET feed. And you just proved why you need it.
