Help! Horrified panic about Scouty... by
Karen AKA Kajikit
Scouty just came and waved her butt in my face and I am willing to
swear on a stack of bibles that I SAW A WORM POKING OUT!!!!!!!!!! John
says that if she had worms we wouldn't see them and I must have
imagined it but I know what I saw... I immediately carried her over to
him so he could see but it...

Big panic, need calming purrs by
Christina Websell
I was reading the group just now when I heard awful screaming just outside
in the garden, like a cat fight but more so. I rushed outside and shouted
but they didn't stop fighting. I didn't think to get a torch first, it's
completely black dark here which doesn't help because I can't see in...

Who needs expensive cat toys? Boxes are so much better! by
Karen AKA Kajikit
Silver's been playing with the box that our water bottles came in all
weekend long... the bottles came out without my having to tear the
plastic so it's like a kind of tent - first she climbed right inside
it, and now she's sat on it and squished the plastic down, and she's
pawing at it and fishing...

Ping Victor and all UK catslaves... by
Helen Miles
Now Victor and Tom have decided to come to good old blighty.... (You're
stuck with it now Victor! ;o)) Can I please have a role call of who
would be likely to pitch up? Judging by the number of us there is likely
to be, it might be worth us thinking about booking a resturant. I know
several fun,...

Home in one piece :o)) by
Helen Miles
Hi folks,
I've collected him and we're home. :o)
I have to say that Virgin Atlantic were EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD in their
handling of Robbie. There was also a pet dog on Robbies flight, who like
Robbie, is scared of men. Virgin staff at Washington Dulles contacted
London Virgin staff who arranged for...

The Mighty Huntress strikes again by
wafflycat
Waffles missing many fangs, has only one eye and one of her back legs is
held together by means of a metal rod in it. Despite this, she is sprightly,
fit, *knows* she is the superior being, and is queen of all she surveys.
This morning she earned her keep. She told me she wished to go out into...

Shake your head no! by
Mark Edwards
When playing with Little Boy, he often gets a little excited and
forgets himself. Sometimes he tries to bite.
When that happens, I pull my hand back, pick him up, kiss him on the
nose and say, "Do we like biting? Shake your head no!" And shake my
head vigorously.
Well this is all fun and games,...

I've made an ass of myself in another ng by
jmcquown
And I want to apologize before I do it here.
My mom told me the doctors told her something they didn't tell my dad, but
she couldn't talk about it because he was in the room when we were on the
phone. No excuse, I know, but still. I apologize in advance if I've
offended anyone.

MAIL CALL! by
SuperSugarCrisp
I'm hot, sweaty, irritated with my family and a little weary. So
rather
than go out and wash my car, and since I needed to fill up on gas for
my
trip anyway, I drove it down to the gas station. Got a deluxe
drive-thru
car-wash along with a fill-up. No biggie.
There's a homeless guy who...

Purrs for a friend's mother by
Shiral
My friend Julianne's mother has had a recent, very serious cancer
diagnosis, and her first chemotherapy treatment put her white blood
cell count at zero. She's been taken to rehab to build up some physical
strength before trying more chemo. Her prognosis is three to six
months even with treatment....

Purrs for roadside kitty by
Victor Martinez
I just picked up a dead beautiful tabby cat from the street and put him
on the side of the road. He seemed to have had a quick death, for that I
am thankful.
Purrs for a peaceful transition to the RB.

Handmade felted wool cat bad by
Cheryl Sellner
Well, after the first attempt at one of those knitted cat beds, my
mom got frustrated with trying to felt it. It wouldn't felt! She
wrote to the owner of that web site that was mentioned here, and
she recommended a brand of wool for it. She said the knitting part
was fun, and went quick. The...

Thanks by

A couple of months ago I posted, asking for suggestions for a gift to send
an Englishman. Someone suggested an indoor/outdoor thermometer. I bought
one, and it was a big success. He has mentioned it many times. After I had
wrapped it, I realized that we use Fahrenheit and they use...

Beanbag bed by
Christina Websell
I just heard a sort of crunching noise from the next room. It was Kitty FC
slightly moving her position on the beanbag bed next to the fire.
She *does* love it, I knew she would eventually. Beanbag beds are ideal
for old pets, they are warm and provide support whatever position the pet
adopts...
