my, how time flies by Monique Y. Mudama
A while ago, just a few weeks to my memory, I got a PO Box. Paid for 6 months. I kept telling myself I'd check it soon, but hadn't. Well. I finally got my butt into the post office (just a half mile or so from where I work) and ... the PO Box was locked. Seems I haven't checked the damn thing...

PK (Pre kitten) update - The Money Shot by Stacey
New Pics!!!! http://tinyurl.com/kezr I went to visit The Kitten on her 4 week birthday today! Her markings are incredible. She's very active and quite cuddly, sitting on my shoulder and nuzzling my cheek. Mommy was a bit less protective, content to sit at my feet while I cuddled the baby.

Purrs for Cleo please by [email protected]
In brief, over the weekend, Cleo had to go to the Emergency vet because I thought she was having a fit, but it seems that my quiet, unassuming girl had an abscess in her mouth which burst. It must have been agony for her. I was in the study when I heard a scream of pain from a cat. When I rushed...

"lost" kitten purrs please? by Jette Goldie
Little "Jaylo" the kitten is nowhere to be seen. Her meowmie called me a short while ago in a panic because she couldn't find the kitten and was terrified that kitty had gotten into the washing machine when she filled it earlier. I rushed down and unpacked the machine - no kitty (thank Bast!)...

Sorry for another OT Post (long) by jmcquown
BUT! this one has a happy ending :) I'd been told for 2 years that I didn't qualify for any sort of government assistance because (1) I don't have children and (2) I have an IRA. This didn't make sense to me because single people have to eat, too. I finally found a woman at the Tennessee Dept....

Major storm today by MLB[_2_]
High winds - up to 90 mph in the valleys and 113 in the mountains. Thunder, lightning and snow again. At my home. we have about 3 inches again and it's cold. We are purring for all the kitties and outside animals to find shelter. The news said power sis out to thousands of homes and roof and...

Otis - how being lost has changed him by Susan M
Hi all: Otis finally seems all settled, about a month after he was trapped and brought home. He ran away from everyone but me when we got home and was super twitchy. It is amazing how strongly we are bonded - I guess that nobody else caters to his craziness like I do and he appreciates...

I had a dream about Fireball. by Don & Lisa
Today is the one week anniversary of Fireball going to the RB, I had a dream about him. It was wonderful. In my dream, I knew he was gone, and this is how he looks over the bridge. He was on the bed with me, and rubbing all over me. He has this snaggle tooth that he would rub all over, he was doing...

"Dog or cat?" by Susan M
Do you ever get the crazy urge to ask someone that when you see their jacket covered in pet hair? To date I've been smart enough not to ask it. I may think its friendly - they may think I'm being rude by noticing their "dirty" jacket. Susan M Otis and Chester & 300 lint removers, all lost

Who in the world lives in Norway?!?! by GraceCat
Dangit, I just checked, it wasn't Lewe. It's not Marina. And I think it's Hans but he's relatively new... Wasn't there *somebody* that lived in Norway around here??? Grace baffled and sleep deprived

I'm cross by Christina Websell
Livid even. Yes, I know cats catch wild birds and that's why I didn't want any cats, because I love birdwatching. Boyfriend lost his posh tapestry collar the other day, the one he arrived here with, so I bought him a reflective one yesterday with a bell on as he fancies himself as quite a hunter of...

Purrs needed desperately by meeee
Hi everyone, sorry to bother you all but I need some purrs desperately. Mango has been relegated to The Outdoors....enclosure that is, for the past few months as he and Jasmine have taken a heyuge dislike to each other and until we move to a bigger house (midway through this year) I have to...

Purrs for Jessie, Please by CatNipped
Jessie is looking a little peaked (her coat is getting ragged looking and her third eyelid is showing), and after weighing her I found she's lost quite a bit of weight in the last 3 months (from 7.65 to 6.8 pounds). http://www.possibleplaces.com/CatNipped/SunnyDay/100_0074.jpg She had round worms...

Scented Cat Litter? by jmcquown[_2_]
I don't really understand it. I don't have an overly sensitive nose but any time I bought (not on purpose!) scented cat litter it made me flinch. Cats noses are much more sensitive than mine. Who at the litter factory thought adding perfume is a good idea? It's like stepping into an elevator...

Purring Lovingly Together by Bev
Billy Boy, a lilac Burmese bred by Lois, lived with my sister Myra and now lives with her son and his wife, Graham and Rosemary. Rosemary told me about this delightful incident when I was over there at Xmas. When Graham is snoozing he makes window rattling snores. Billy Boy has it all worked out,...

I just lost ALL of my saved posts.. by Gandalf
I just opened RPCA, and tried to get new headers. Instead, I lost ALL my saved posts and threads, going back to 2001. The first thread I locked and saved was my post about my Blizzard going to the Bridge, on April 10, 2001. I had locked and saved every thread about EVERY RB kitty for many...

Need Opinions [OT] by CatNipped
My company is merging with another company and I'm doing the web site for the "new" company. I've never done a web site for this type of company before (we sell, lease, repair, transport, and rent storage space for shipping containers - the kinds you see on ships and the "bed" part...

Why are my cats so small? by Christina Websell
I have read posts about cats on the group that are often 14 lbs up to in the 20's, particularly USA cats. Compared with this, mine are miniscule. Boyfriend is around 7-8 pounds and KFC is 4ish. They both have access to all the gooshy and dry food that they might want and catch and eat der birdies...
