Pilling vs. Injection? by Noreen Cooper
I had a rather unpleasant visit with the vet today. We have a new kitten who was treated for round worms and tape worms. I actually saw a tape worm come out of her anus. This kitten is the one from the feral mother and she is an absolute love. She's more of lap cat than our other two. Here's...

kitten does not clean self by miracatta
We have a kitten, about 4-5 months old, who is perfect in every way, except that he does not clean himself very well, and reeks of urine almost all the time. He is a white cat. His fur is more like rabbit fur than cat fur, very silky and medium long. He is very meticulous about using his litter and...

Why is the cat doing this? by Jeff Harper
While we were away on a trip for a week, one of my girlfriend's two male cats began defecating on the tile floor in the foyer by the door. Now that she is back, he still sometimes does it, despite his litter box being clean. We spray the area with a cat deterrent but that provides only a temporary...

How Often to Vaccinate? by Scuba4dk
I have read that it is not good to give yearly vaccinations on cats that don't go outside. I have two one year old kittens who have had all of their kitten shots and don't go outside. I have an elderly indoor cat and a senior indoor/outdoor cat that rarely leaves the yard. I just received a notice...

tail quivering by Sheryl Barber
My cat has an interesting tail quiver. It is not the usual twitch or tail slap on the floor. She actually makes it quiver very rapidly while it is raised straight in the air. I have never noticed any of my other cats exhibiting this behavior. Anyone familiar with this behavior and what it means?
