Best cat food. by Graham
I have taken my 4 month old kitten to the vets (vets 4 pets - UK) and they suggest that the Hills science plan is the best kitten/cat food you can buy at the moment. Has anyone else tried this and what did you think to it? I know the 'vets 4 pets' is a big company but I was just thinking that...

Help, my cat is a serial killer! by Garret Swayne
My cat Zacky is an indoor/outdoor cat, and he's forever bringing home prey that he catches. Every week or so, I'll come home and find a bloody lifeless bird in my living room (and the room full of feathers!) Or a lizard. Or a mouse. Or these really weird worms that are not snails or slugs,...

Took in Adandon Kitty, What Have I DONE??? by Charles
I took in an abandoned kitty approx 4 months ago. She is now 6-7 months old. I was what I thought to be a wonderful owner, purchasing several scratching posts, giving kitty the run of the house. Did NOT have her declawed, got her rabies and distemper vaccine, had her spayed. Now 6 weeks after...

KITTY LITTER DUST by Dennis
Just became a cat owner a few months ago and thought I had done all my homework on the pros and cons of owning a cat, but there's always something you miss. In my case, it's the dust from the kitty litter that has settled over everything in my home. Is there anything that can be done to...

TWO cats in heat! by Lisa
Oh my god, I thought it was bad enough having one of them in heat. I wrote about it last week, asking how long it lasts, and was hoping that it would be over by now. But now her sister has started so we have TWO screaming, clawing, desperate-to-escape cats! And their appointment to be spayed,...

Strange story...opinions please by AJ
Hello everyone, I am posting this here because I am totally stunned, and distraught and in need of some input from fellow animal(cat) lovers. I brought my 6 year old tabby in to the vet on December 17th because she was not eating and vomitting up bile, and was basically lethargic. after about 5...

Update on Rutherford, my floor-****ing cat by jimmy the LD
Okay, here's what I have experienced thus far: We found a spot where Rutherford (my ever-so-****ing-on-the-floor cat) had been spraying and squatting over and over, and we got some of that "Nature's Miracle" stuff. We wasted our money on that stuff - it didn't work at all. Tonight, after spending...

"stay away" by ken
Does anyone have esperience with a sensor-device called STAY AWAY? If a cat jumps on a table or counter, the sensor sets off a noise and a blast of air? Does it work and if so, where can you buy it? Thanks Ken

Companion for Kitten? by [email protected]
Hi, I have a spayed female kitten (a month or so old?). She's an indoor cat and is pretty needy (meows when I'm not around, etc...). I work full time and I spend time with friends on weekends, so there are long periods when she's alone at home. I want to do what's best for her, so I have a few...

Tri colored cats all female? by dgk
I suppose I could check Google but I'm here so... Someone at the cat show said that all tri-color (or tri-colour for my British friends) cats are female, or, if male, are sterile. Seems odd but he was showing his purebreds so maybe he knew what he was talking about. Does white count as a color?
