*Hi* by [email protected]
Everytime I open this newsgroup I start crying. But I miss ya'll too. So bear with me. Abi's doing well. Or well enough. Jody and I were out of town five weeks ago and came home to a broken arm. She had been riding one of the children's go-cart things and it tilted. She braced her fall...

*I'm* easily amused by Cheryl[_4_]
I bought a treadmill a few weeks ago and yes I used it daily. Shamrock meows at me while I'm working out. Tonight I put it on it's slowest speed and started putting the cat toys on the treadmill and the cats were going nuts watching them slowly go by them and drop at the end. LOL

*Kitty Toofpaste* by Kyla =^..^=
I highly reccommend getting some kitty/doggie toothpaste for your furry animals, from your vet. The enzymes in the toothpaste will help your kitty/doggie's health and you don't HAVE to 'brush' their teeth for it to work. Just put some on your finger and let them lick it off. Ours is poultry...

*My* bad kitties by Dan M
I got a call from Nancy this morning, telling about what my bad kitties have up to. Whenever they're bad, they're my kitties. When they're good they're our kitties. We've got a cat flap in the back door to let the furkids in/out when the weather is too hot or too cold to leave the door standing...

*MY* cat would *never* do that by Mark Edwards
For years, I have told people how well behaved my cats are. We've never had problems with the cats reaching into our plates, and they have often waited patiently, if very closely, for samples of our food. While Presto (RB) used to get on the table to inspect (and often spill) Senyah's water...

*My* Smokey is famous, too: by Magic Mood Jeep©
There was an email that was placed in my junk box that wasn't junk: Dear Nancy, Catster wanted you to know that Smokey is our Featured Cat of the Day. Smokey will be shown on the homepage of the website all day! I know I know, we're purring like mad over here too! Thanks so much for running with...

*Nobody* Can Relax Like a Cat! by CatNipped[_2_]
OK, back to cats! I've been horribly remiss in posting pictures of the masters - so since I'm breaking my own rule and am on the computer tonight, I figured I'd address that. http://www.possibleplaces.com/CatNipped/Ozzy5/ -- Hugs,

*NOT* OT - Blind man sees with his ears by MaryL[_2_]
This article makes me think of Duffy: http://www.cnn.com/2011/11/09/tech/innovation/daniel-kish-poptech-echolocation/index.html?hpt=hp_c2 Duffy marches around the house making beautiful little "trilling" sounds. They are happy sounds, like singing. He obviously is not dependent on the sounds he...

*Phone Calls by Kyla =^. .^=
First somebody called me and aked for 'kaYla.. I replied, there's no kaYla at this # and hung up on her. You don't pronounce my name right, you don't get to talk to me. Period!! Then, I keep getting these calls asking for my deceased (since 1991) MIL. Some cretin just called and asked for her, and...

*Ping* Helen S by GraceCat
I remember when Waffles was hurt and the story of the other kitty that was adopted by the vet assistant (Jane?) but I don't remember the details, just that it happened. I'd like to go back and read the entire ordeal but have no idea what to google it for. Would you either share again in rough form...

*SIGH* by HRFLTiger
For the last few weeks, I've been trying to identify where the smell of cat pee is coming from in my living room. Eventually I found out today. Someone has been peeing behind the sofa. I have my suspicions who it might be, because I caught Cleo middening in the kitchen so it looks like another vet...

*sigh* .. it was too good to last by Monique Y. Mudama
All of her life ... er, well, since kittenhood, Oscar has been an extraordinarily well-behaved cat. It had to stop some time, right? Okay, it's not a huge deal. Most cat owners would kill to have my problems. But anyway, Oscar's been getting more comfortable in her own skin, less...

*sigh* Fickle Oscar by Monique Y. Mudama
The only canned food she's been willing to eat is Wellness Salmon & Turkey. Well, for the last three feedings, she hasn't touched it. I finally relented and gave her a few of her old Nutro kibbles, which she hoovered up, so I know she's not protesting food in general. She's so much more...

*Sigh* Just to remind me...... by [email protected]
I have been well and truly reminded this evening that my sole purpose on thsi planet is to work to earn money to take care of the owners. Tomorrow, I get my first proper "Real" pay packet in 6 years. Sure, I've worked in part time jobs whilst in school and studying, but this is my first real job...

*sigh* Pearl by Karen
Now Pearl is coughing again. I had really backed off on the prednisone because the heart group people really have a fit about it, AND it's hard to hide the taste so she doesn't take it as well, but last night and today she isn't feeling well and is coughing and dry heaving a bit, which was what...
