Indoor/outdoor to indoor ONLY by
2Cats
I have 2 cats that I'm sick of plucking ticks off them when they come
in from playing outdoors. My husband & I want to convert them to
indoor only. Does anyone experienced this issue and have any tips on
doing this?

Dilemna and questions by
Ajanta
As I mentioned in a previous post, a cat in my neighborhood visits my
home regularly once or twice a day. I have checked around, she doesn't
belong to anyone. She started coming to relax on our 3rd floor
apartment's back-porch (which is very quiet, good view, many cushioned
chairs!). Later I...

Cat's Coughing and Vomiting by
MrsJ
Hi. My name is Sara, and this is my first time here. I'm just trying to find out some information on possible causes of my cat's cough, before calling the vet.
Our cat, Butthead, is a 1 1/2-year old Ragamuffin (long hair). Before we were married, my husband bought Butthead from the...

reusable cat litter by
sandra
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone out there has used 'washable' cat litter. The idea
is that it is used in a special filter tray. It does not absorb anything,
just gives the cat digging material! The solids stay on top and are scooped
away as usual, but the urine flows down into a container underneath...

Loss of fur due to scratching by
gerri via CatKB.com
We have a 6 1/2 year old female who tends to scratch the fur off her skin in
areas on her back, sides, and rear underbelly around her legs. We have taken
her to the Vet. He gave her a temporary solution of a cortisone shot. He
also recommended flea drops instead of the collars we were using. We...

I have a question by
[email protected]
Actually two questions.
Ray (My cute little 1 year old male cat) seems to be itching quite a
bit in one area. I have no idea why he would be doing this. I've
treated him with flea and tick repellent and he's an indoor cat. It's
mildly worrying me.
The other thing is, I noticed this morning he has...

Just got back from Petsmart by

I took Ray in to get his claws clipped (He likes the woman that does it
at the local store, and I have been trying to broach the subject of how
she might like me for awhile, but that's another story for another
message board) and it turns out Ray DOES have fleas.
He's an indoor cat and I'm a...

Cat holding it in. by
nedsports
This is a cat that we have had for about a month or so. This cat was very
odd in that it wouldn't eat solid food at all. We had to get wet food and
mix it with the solid. Today the cat just gets solid. The cats big problem
is its tendency to hold in urine, and feces for as long as posible. ...

I have two female cats who are about four months apart in age. They are both
really well behaved and we really don't have any issues. However, in
December of 2005 the oldest Isabel my husband and I assume was angry with us
because she was in the process of urinating on our blankets while we...

The adult opossum turns up by

Having had a recent run of baby possum interactions with the boys, I
figured that there must be an adult around. Sure enough, yesterday
Espy was sitting on the back wall in the backyard, looking intensely
at something behind a shed in the next yard. I look and there is an
adult possum, moving...
