Cat supplements by Ken Knecht
I bought a package of Designing Health Inc.'s Missing Link dietary feline supplement? Anyone else using this? I plan to add it to my home-made cat food. It seems to provide everything but seems a bit light on the calcium - I intend to augment that. No vitamin C but there should be enough of...

USING DEODERIZER IN LITTER BOX-HARMFUL TO CAT??? by [email protected]
I recently had to put-down my 7 year old domestic short hair due to kidney failure. This was right around the time of the scare. The food was Iams, Weight Control w/hairball care-not on the list. I have another cat who's since been given the once-over by a vet, and all is fine. I have no reason...

Latest Update on Tortle by 22brix
It's been about a month since Tortle was diagnosed with acute renal failure and I am so pleased with her progress. She has gained almost a pound since I brought her home from the hospital--from a little under 7 pounds to almost 8 pounds. She is on Cyproheptadine for her appetite and it's been...

Breaking a cat of nocturnal behavior by T
Well, little Evangeline is a night owl. So today I've been keeping her awake, ALL day. She's not happy but I have to break her of the nocturnal behavior. I suspect her prior slave was a college kid. Roommate had turned her into the pound and I know college kids are night owls. So we'll see...

which pet food companies manufacture their foods themselves? by Rona Y.
I've been reading a lot about the food recalls. My vet, without naming names of companies, suggests not to buy brands of pet food which are a) manufactured by large multi-product companies (why would you buy pet food from a company that makes laundry detergent, she says), or b) from companies...

I make no money off this, it's really free. At the link below you'll find a list of 100% free samples, no catches, no spam traps. I've worked hard to put this directory--it was really just an excuse to "have" to request every sample out there. :) Right now there are dozens (60+ I think) pet food...

I have two boys and my younger one, Isaac, is an eating machine. He never turns food down. He has to eat in my bedroom or else he'll inhale his meal and head for Otto's bowl. I recently bought a few cases of canned food. I got a couple of Merrick, which is Otto's favorite (Turducken, Chicken...
