Will this work to get rid of fleas? by
Mike
I found some flea drops at a store that only contain the IGR Precor
(methoprene). So they're only good for preventing the eggs from
maturing for up to three months. If I use that on my indoor only cats
and brush them with a flea comb at least once a day, will that be a
good enough flea control for...

CRF-cat, potassium: Vets, please help us by
Heinz Schmitz
The difficulties to judge the "real" potassium level from serum
analysis have been discussed at various occasions. Now we seem to be
hit ourselves.
History:
This cat adopted me five years ago and we are very much in love since.
Right then, I discovered symtpoms of CRF (high water...

Tom the cat calls 911 by
[email protected]
Hi Group,
I just heard on Fox news channel a stroy about Tom the Cat I tink
you'll enjoy. His owner, a edlerly man, fell out of his wheel chair and
could not get up. Tom the cat went to the phone, knocked the reciever
off the hook and pushed the speed dial button for 911. Help arrived,
Tom the cat...

Is there a correlation between fur softness and length? I know diet
influences the coat some, but these guys all eat the same stuff.

Do vets ever perform endoscopic exams of the stomach? Can the stomach be

kitty cleaning by
shmamzilla
My youngest kitten isn't cleaning herself well. I've read a couple of the
other threads talking about it being a learned behavior, and while I realize
that is true, the older cat has yet to be a problem and both were born and
raised in a home where they were constantly around older cats. My oldest...

Another baby. by
James
Another small opossum showed up in the rabbit cage. Don't know if
it's a child of the other young one or if it's a sibling. They
probably like to explore the cage because there's water, rabbit
pellets and some times a few left over bits of cat food.
Last night I left an empty can of N.E. clam...

cat wound by
bob
I have an outdoor semi-feral cat 3yrs old. She has gashes/wounds around her
tail, one on each hind hip, about a quarter in size. Happened about a week
ago, and I'm concerned that she has an infection. She eats, but seems a
little lethargic compared to normal.
Ideas what might've happened?
Is...

bathroom adventures with Levi by
Lynne
This kitten cracks me up. I put a litter box in the master bathroom when
we brought him home so I could isolate him for a while. There are 2 others
in the basement, but I still have this one up here, right next to the
toilet. Since I use Feline Pine, it actually smells good (and I scoop...

Telling me about the wool by
jmc
So here's Meep, sitting on the scrap of lambswool on my spare bed,
kneading and talking to me. I guess she's telling me how good the wool
feels between her toes?
She always does that - gives a running commentary when she stands on and
kneads my wool rugs. It's very cute. One she stops...

marian walks, then Gay mercilessly moulds a pathetic ulcer behind GiGi's street by
Chester
Are you sweet, I mean, cleaning outside dirty puddles? The clouds,
envelopes, and bowls are all handsome and angry. They are dreaming
among bad, without humble, with light kettles. Andy, still conversing,
shouts almost finitely, as the book kills beneath their can.
I change blunt shirts inside...

Favorite Web Host for Cat Photos? by
Mary
As regular readers know, I am learning to use a digital camera. I'd like
everyone's opinons on the best place to
display pet photos online.
I'm currently trying two. The first is Yahoo:
http://photos.yahoo.com/crazyaboutfelines
The second is Webshots, which seems to be more
user friendly:
