Cat behaviorist by
Richard
I am in Puerto Rico near San Juan and cannot find an animal behaviorist
to help with a non-medical cat peeing problem. My vet doesn't know
anyone nor do any vets I called. I searched the web without luck.
I have already followed the usual advice - litter boxes, food
placement, etc.
Suggestions?

cat eating houseplant by
kitkat via CatKB.com
my cat keeps eating the fushcia I just brought in the house for the winter.
He eats it and then vomits about 10 minutes later. Should I be calling
poison control or remove the plants? Or will he eventually learn to stop
eating the plant? He doesn't eat any other plants besides his catnip.

The Cat haven worker who originally gave me the dates had incorrect
information on when, but everything else was correct. We had some surprises,
a more complete effort for the first day, and a few new faces in the traps...

MoMo via CatKB.com
I am absolutely paranoid since experiencing my first blockage with my cat
last weekend. He has been doing great. I just got home from work and the
first thing I do is go to the litter box. At that time, my other cat was
using it. So, when he was done, I cleaned it and there was two total pees...

The family Cat loves her claws. The question is ; Is it better to
de-claw or just use scratch prevention sprays?

The rest have been released and are slowly finding their way to their

How did you decide when it's "time"? by
The Other Mike
I know everyone is different and every cat is different but wanted
some opinions. I only had to put a cat down once and it was about 4
months ago...it was very obvious that it needed to be done and the
decline came very quickly. Now her 16 yr old brother has been
diagnosed with a malignant tumor...

cat licks soap by

our cat licks the soap in the soap dish repeatedly. is this a sign of
anything serious beyond cat insanity? we've resorted to putting the dish
in the cupboard to keep it away from him. he east and drinks normally
otherwise and is average weight for his size.
