I saw you were taking a break, but I was seriously about to post this to
your attention. I got your holiday card! And Persia FREAKED over the
enclosed kitty fur. Her eyes got HUGE, nose was twitching like a rabbit's
and she tried to bat the fur out of my hand. Uh, I hope your needed...

Computer Stupidities by
Bev
I am an expert at computer stupidities. When I read some of these I
cringed with embarrassment all over again. My knowledge of RAM was a
case in point, lol.

Have fun and some of you might cringe like me. Let's hear some of your
bad moments.

Hey guys.
I know I skip around and seem to answer only my posts and a couple
others when I have the chance. I am not willfully ignoring some or
others but my regular ISP had dropped newservice a couple months ago
and I'm either newsgrouping via google or AOL and I just can't stand
AOL. And google...

Officially it is winter. by
dirtylitterboxofferingstospammers
How do I know this?
Waffles has told me.
As soon as winter is upon us, she takes up residence on the top of a switched
on PC monitor. Likes the heat warming her bits. This is a winter activity and
she started it this morning.

Dear Judges, Lawyers, Policemen, Guards, Counselors, Taxpayers, et. al.,
We are here. Like it or not, for good or bad, we are here. Who are we? We are the
downtrodden and dispossesed, the self-torturing, the disenfranchised convicts,
drug and alcohol addicts, the unemployed and unemployable. ...

heat waves from the heater behind the couch.)

Sammy's new job by
Steve Touchstone
I used to be something of a coffee snob. Not over the top, but I've
always enjoyed fresh ground beans, and have a expresso machine. Once I
started the landscaping business, I've really cut back on caffeine, as
it doesn't mix well with our hot Oklahoma summers when working
outdoors. With the coming...

Bye for a few days by

Hi all:
I'll be sending good thoughts to all who need them while I am at a yoga
conference in Toronto for four days. Back on Monday.
I feel like a terrible mom - to furless and furry creatures alike!

Harvey: Wrowled For No Reason by
Lots42 The Library Avenger
(Story ends happy)
So it's late. Very late. All of a sudden Harvey goes 'Rrrroooowwwwwarow'. I
stumble out into the living room because hell, it sounded as if someone
collasped onto the couch and Harvey was panicking because a sevant was in
distress. Anywho, everyone was fine. Harvey was just...

Otis & Chester: Working cats by

WE HAVE MICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not in the house, mind you. They'd have been killed instantly. We have
mice in the garage, as evidenced by the two large holes in my beloved fleece
jacket and the hole in the bottom of the birdseed bag.
The boys are assigned to garage duty. They can tell there's...

Purrs for ?????? by

Whilst in Sydney I managed to visit one of my favourite pet shops (Chatswood
for those who know Sydney).....there was a delightful Cornish Rex cat
looking for somebody to adopt him. He is 2 years old, has beautiful grey fur
and needs a home. I spoke to the lady about him and she couldn't tell...

"Let me SHOW you what you can do with this!" by
CajunPrincess
I think I have heard of this behavior before, but seeing it just
cracks me up.
The vet from whom we adopted Kona and Sabastian (f/k/a Avery)
recommends leaving out Hill's dried food and feeding the cats Hill's
wet food once a day. Both like the kibble. Sabastian likes the wet
food OK. Kona is...

dissolving teeth? by
Elizabeth
Hi all
Long time no see!
I'm trying to find out more info about dissolving teeth - anyone had this
problem with their furbabies? We recently went to a new vet (the cats
haven't been seen for over a year) and after having perfect teeth for their
first three years, Karahi now has some gingivitis...

Weeble's Lumpy Leg - and another story by
Magic Mood JeepĀ©
Weeble goes back to TED this afternoon to have the lump looked at (again)
and to see if they want to do a biopsy. The lump has gotten smaller in
diameter, but harder & I think it sticks out farther than before, too.
Also, last night when he (finally) clamed down for a nap on my lap, it
seemed...

Someone (an American) posted this to an email list I'm on. I have
no idea whether it's actually true - maybe someone from the UK can
verify? - but it is certainly amusing! It even has a paragraph
toward the end that makes it on-topic for this ng....

It reads:

The oddest reaction by
P. Cox
Scat likes to lay on my chest when I lay down to watch tv in bed. The
other night I took both front paws gently in both hands and curled my
fingers around her paws and put my paw-filled fist to my lips and made a
long kissy sound. I recieved the oddest look, her head bobbed up and her
paws...
