Kitty Better! by
LauraM[_2_]
Thanks to those of you who responded to my post several days ago. My
kitty, Hobbes, had two enemas a few days ago and is now finally
passing proper stools and eating without throwing up. I have tossed
out the artificial plant he chewed up, so hopefully we won't have a
reoccurrence.
It's a scarey...

Fatty Tumor or Cyst? by
Lady J USA
My 3 year old Female Tortishell cat has a lump on her left breast
bone. She is not fixed but she shares the house with 2 fixed males.
The mass moves around. It is about an inch in length. I don't know
what it is. Does anybody know what it might be?

and a cocked head for a week or so.
I thought she might die.
She had used it twice before, once a year, no problem.
I dont...

Is it normal? by
Bianca L
I have adopted a new kitten, Stevie. She is amazing. She came into the
shelter with two other littermates. Steve was born with no eyeballs.
Anyway I adopted her a couple weeks ago and I notice that she sleeps through
the night. For the life of me I can't remember a kitten doing this. I have a

Pepcid for cats? by
Brian Link
My son's girlfriend's cat had a case of the pukes (on a Saturday night
of course - I think our cats prefer the emergency clinic to our
regular vet). We took her to the clinic, which did a blood test,
physical exam of the mouth and throat, and took xrays.
Little booger was fine, but the doctor said...

FIP cat? by
Mike
Hello all,
our cat 8-10 years old suddenly developed some disease: it started from
severe vomiting, fever and jaundicing. He was previously fat and was
slowly loosing wait last months when hot days come. That weight loss
didn't concern us as he stayed active or somewhat become even more
active.
We...

Heaven? by

Got this in my e-mail today. Thought you might like it.
A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the*
scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered
dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He
wondered where the road...

My Cat Bites Me by
The Three Beagles
I'm new to cats, having recently adopted a stray. I've had him vet-checked,
vaccinated, wormed and have him on flea and heartworm preventative. I found
out that the vet living down the street had already neutered him. He's very
sweet and getting more affectionate all the time. However, every...

PING Phil - Really sick kitten by
Wendy
Sunday morning I went in to take care of my fosters and I noticed one of
them was just laying in the bottom of the playpen and there was a lot of
bloody diarrhea in the litter box and vomit on the towels. Her temperature
was so low that she felt cool to the touch. Her two sisters, who share...

pests in the house and cats by
Kitkat
UGH! We seem to have more "common house centipedes" this year than EVER
before. I saw one last nite that was about 2 inches long. I thought it
was going to eat me!!! Anyway, I told DH that we must do something about
it because I am tired of these little fuggers crawling around all the
damn time. So...

Sorry - one more cute cat recollection.. by
Brian Link
When Abbey died, we knew that Tiger would be lonely. He was a farm-cat
with a lot of energy, who always tried to play with our other cats,
but was rebuffed.
So we made the decision to buy a purebreed cat whose reputed
characteristics would best match Tiger's high spirits.
We bought a Bengal,...
