holiday greetings by
lewe
from Thea & Bono who have travelled north to their summer cottage (also
known as my parents' place). Parents came here to Malmö to visit and the
furries went back with them since they, of course won't settle for only 5-6
weeks of holidays like I have to ..
The 10 hr car trip was put to good use...

Kitty Hit Parade, or "Upside-Downy Head" by
Kreisleriana
I was relieved to discover I'm not the only nut who makes up
ridiculous songs to sing to my cat. Here's another one I was singing
this morning. This takes a little explanation.
Probably the single most adorably cutest thing that Stinky does is
this-- he's lying on a bed, or sofa, or his favorite...

Barn kittens update 5 (kitten No. 6 photo) by
Annie Wxill
I posted a photo of kitten No. 6 in Annie's photos in
.
I'm sure this one is a little girl. She looks like a shorthair to me. I'm
wondering if my DD is confusing kitten fuzz with a longhair. Maybe the other
kittens are not longhair after all?
What do you think? Will they...

I'm whipped by
[email protected]
I'm sitting on a not-so-comfy chair that I dragged in from the kitchen
so I could use the computer, because... you guessed it - a cat is curled
up on my regular computer chair. And she looks so comfy I just couldn't
disturb her.

In the heat of the night by
Exocat
Sweltering (for England) night last night at 21 degrees C, 69 F.
Somehow I thought my three masters might scatter to cooler climes. No
such luck :-(
Bandit maintained his usual vigil lodged against my feet.
Pericles kept station in his customary place beside my stomach.
Snowball for some obscure...

Getting used to the cat by
Takayuki
Is there ever a point when you finally get used to your cat? I've had
Betty for over a year now, and I haven't gotten used to it.
Every day I spend with Betty feels like the very first day. When she
strolls into the room, I'm just stunned by how beautiful and catlike
she is. When I stroke her...

Windows are not friends anymore by
Cheryl
Poor Shamrock. Last week, there was a car accident on the road in
front of my house that ended up in my yard. The car hit lost control
and hopped the curb and was headed toward my living room window where
Shamrock was sitting watching. I was watching also. In disbelief,
sort of (the guy was able to...

Anyone ever accidentally run over a cat with a bike tire? by
Slick's Back
I regret to inform you all that yesterday when I was speeding past my
neighbors house, their cat darted out towards my bike and got caught
under the back tired and was immdediately crushed. I didn't even
really notice until my back tire jumped up. I had to be humane and
finish the thing off because...

Rainy roadtrip to Cambodia - OT by
badwilson
So the company that Dennis works for is refusing to renew our Thai visas.
They say that Dennis works in Burma now and it's not their problem that we
live in Thailand. Technically it's true but do they have to be such jerks
about it?
Anyway, my visa expires on Sunday, so yesterday I drove to the...

I am indeed a catslave by
Ginger-lyn Summer
It was ungodly hot here yesterday -- 90 degrees and humid. I was
waiting for a client (who never showed up -- I *hate* that!), all
windows wide open, back door open to the screen door, with a small
paper fan in my hand going full blast. Brando jumped up on the couch
near me and meowed. Loudly. ...

Barn kittens update 6 by

Thanks for all the opinions on the ages and coats of the kittens. Guesses on
ages range from 5 to 9 weeks, depending on if the eyes are changing color.
Unanimous agreement that they are short hair from the best we can tell from
the photo.
DD (dear daughter) called this morning, but I was out...
