cat eye problem. by
dragon
My female cat started very last night with an aggressive pawing at
her own eye, which seemed closed. I could not see anything in there
when I looked gently except it was obviously sore, She settled on
my bed for the night although her eye was closed, and all as quiet
until 3am when she...

cat vomiting by

I have a 5 year old Tomcat. He has just returned from the vet and
I am anxious about the advice and treatment received. The vet is a
very experienced one, but not (I am afraid to say) very
compassionate (having supported actively, the movement to continue
fox and deer hunting in the...

Cat "beds" by
---MIKE---
Both of my cats have decided that they prefer to sleep on newspapers. I
spread the papers out on the couch and love seat and that's what they
like - the messier the better! It's a good thing I am not a neat
freak.

Cat "missing" the litter box by
Amy
For the past few months, it seems that periodically, one of my cats would
urinate right outside of the litter box. I managed to catch this happening
once - she would go inside the litter box, and stand right by the edge and
urinate, resulting in puddles right outside of the box.
Any idea...

Cat "smacking lips". by
Doll
For the past few months my four year old male cat has been smacking
his lips constantly. I don't know what else to call it. I guess it
looks like what we would do if we had a bad taste in our mouths. Last
month he went in for some dental work but he was doing it before the
dental work, and still...

Cat & And Cups by
Cat Protector
Here's a somewhat humorous video of one of my cats. It's always funny how
cats focus on certain objects and then desperately want them. Enjoy.

Cat - deeping moaning cry by
davout
Our cat is 17 years old and is in reasonable health for his age.
However, about a six months ago he started to emit this very deep
moaning cry, almost a growl.
He usually starts this when he comes through the cat flap back into
the house, or perhaps in the middle of the night when nobody...

Cat - litterbox. Change in diet? by
[email protected]
Howdy,
I have an alpha-male cat that sometimes doesn't use the litterbox.
I've been mainly putting the blame on him, and getting pretty fed up
with it. But the few times I'm around to see what is happening things
become a bit clearer. It appears he starts at the litterbox but then
has to work...

Fry the mice in bacon grease and feed them to your cat, or throw the
mice in the neighbors yard for their kids to play with.

I've got a two-year old cat. For the past month she's been hiding on

I used to post to this group some about a cat I had problems with, I

I thought someone here might know the origin of the video if it...

Cat acne by
Brian Link
Our 12-year old, maine-coonish moggie has a small wound on his chin
again this Fall. In the past, we'd removed his plastic food-dish,
since we'd heard that plastic can cause allergic reactions. This
seemed to work for a few years, but over the last couple years he
seems to get this wound back.
It...

cat acne? by
Purplecat
Hi,
One of my cats has got black crusty bits on the fur on her chin. I believe
this is a sign of overactive sebaceous glands/cat acne. Can anyone confirm
this? The only time I've come across cat acne before it was a lot more
obvious than this, but cleared up in a week or so with daily cleaning...

Cat Acrobatics! by

I have a cat that likes to do some acrobatics! It climbs to the top
level of the cat tower! It leans over and grabs the underside of the
top shelf of the cat tower and swings down! I have a cord that
attaches the tower to the wall. The cat swings down to this while
grabbing to the underside of...

cat acting weird by
Olivia Mark
My cat has started peeing in the corner near our front door. She's very
old, so I don't exactly know if this is an age thing or what. The simple
solution is to take her to the vet, but my budget is super tight and she
seems healthy in all other aspects, so I am thinking maybe just move the
litter...

Cat Active at Night by
[email protected]
Is your cat active at night and sleeps during the daytime?
Cats are nocturnal. It is normal for them to be active at night. If
you find this annoying, rather than punish your cat for following his
natural activity schedule, train him to shift his active phase to
earlier in the evening or later in...
