Any suggestions?? by
Gail
Someone dumped two young male cats (look about one year, are twins, and are
orange and white) near a barn where I jog. The barn is on a farm which is
not a working one. They are friendly and were obviously someone's pets. I
have three cats myself and am unable to adopt them. (One of my cats goes...

New term to replace "declaw" by
Katy Grace
I'm fascinated by the use of language and how inaccurate terminology
can cause a lot of argument and dissent among people.
Example: The "income tax" is precisely that, a tax on income. Not a lot
of argument there. However the term "death tax" is incorrect because it
is not a tax on death. Lots of...

Drinkwell question by
jmc
For those of you who have tried the drinkwell pet fountain:
How long did it take before your cat took its first drink? Anybody have
a cat that wouldn't touch it?
I set the Drinkwell out this afternoon. Meep hasn't shown any fear of
it, but she hasn't drank out of it either. Just wanders by,...

Kitten let me sleep longer? by

Question about my new kitten, We go to bed together around 1am but
seems to wake me up around 6:30am in the morning, although 4am has been
recorded before also.
It is always purring heavily (but never meows) He will butt my hands
and face with his head, much like a greeting but he will not...

OT Babies and me update by
Snittens
Hello,
Finally have some time to read this newsgroup! I'm in the nursery on the
laptop feeding a baby with one hand and typing with the other.
Ainsley is home and doing very well. She has been gaining weight steadily
and her muscle tone seems to be improving. She is still a bit scrawny,...

find a holistic vet to help him boost his immune system. He is also on

Is it ok to feed a variety of (canned) food? by
Ajanta
Hi everyone,
I "suspect" it would be good for nutrition to feed them a variety of
foods (all canned), but how does it work in practice with their
digestion or even psychology?
Is it ok to vary the kind from meal to meal, day to day, or should the
change come more slowly? How slowly?
Thanks....
