Buster the poly by
Takayuki
Buster is being a naughty polydactyl. He's discovered that he can silently
open all the drawers under the bed at night, then wake me up in the morning
so that when I step out of bed, I almost trip on the drawers and give
myself a concussion.

Lots of Kisses by
jmcquown
For some reason the past week Persia has been giving me more "kisses" than
usual. She's always very affectionate; a regular snuggle bug (one of her
nicknames). She meatloafs against my tummy when I'm on the couch watching
TV. The gentle love bites which usually follow a couple of licks...

Cat hair in the keyboard by
Ted Davis[_3_]
I had a hard time typing the Cloe/Chloe message because the backspace key
kept sticking: trying to back up over a character or two would wipe out
half a line before I could stop it. It turned out to be a wad of cat hair
under and around the key cap. The keyboard itself is indestructable -
it's a...

(OT) Selling a Car, sort of venting by

I need to sell my mother's car as part of settling her estate. (Before you
ask, I do have a realistic blue-book value on it.) I've

Isn't THIS fun??? (completely OT) by
Granby
Nice to know I have one friend who has some left, sanity that is. It is so
miserable here people are growling at each other. I worked late last night
so I could take today off and get some stuff done. Well, water company has
shut the water off for a day! Notice sent to radio stations but it...

Maisie's last injection. by
Christina Websell
Just let's say we got it done.
I sat her on my knee on the way to the vet and put her into Boyfie's wooden
box when we got there because she just has no manners at all whatsoever and
she barked if she thought she could even see a dog and screamed at them and
scrabbled at my lap.
I have no idea...

Shhhh. We're comfables by
Mark Edwards
Little Boy and Bucky are cuddled up. Little boy is snoring. Little Feet is
eating, and Dulce Mae keeps reaching through the bars to pat the concrete
porch.
Now and then some kids pass by, and all the cats watch as they pass. One
little girl stopped and asked if we were having a yard sale of...

Memphis and Phoenix! by

Hello all!
I am finally able to access the newsgroup. For those who have no idea
what has been going on and would like to know why I have been absent so
long, we have moved to Spain.
We packed up the cats in a large cage and put them in the back of our
people carrier along with a hell of a lot of...

Memphis Manatee (OT) by

An approximately 800 lb. manatee made its way over 700 miles up from the
Mississippi Gulf Coast earlier this week and was spotted by a couple of
fishermen. Rescue attempts have been underway since Tuesday. The resumed
attempts this morning were hampered by poor weather conditions. The...

Cute story by
Hailey
Hehe, okay, I just had to share this.
I have this small personal fan I use just for me, well, when Tucker lets
me, lol
I've used it since he was a teeny furbaby and he loves to run his teeth
on it, or rather have it run on his teeth. It's harmless, since it's
plastic, so we let him. It's pretty...

I wish I'd had a digital camera today by
tanada
For some reason while QC will go out in the cat enclosure (aka kitty
jail) he doesn't think of it as being outside. So we have days where we
hear non-stop baby kitten cries at the back door from a 23 lb. cat that
wants OUT. Usually these pleas get one someone's nerves eventually, and
end up with...
