Baby BOOM!!! FW - pictures by
Lisa ^..^
Sorry I don't get here to post much but you'll see why I'm way too
busy! On Sept 23rd I was expecting to adopt out all but 6 of my 15
kittens over the next weekend. Wow, I was going to be under 10
kittens!! Yeah, right, the kittens had other ideas!! Oh, I did adopt
out 9 over the weekend...

Let it snow! by
Lesley
It's just started to snow here in London- coming down pretty heavily.
When Dave saw it he called me to have a look and the cats followed me
into the kitchen.....
They're now sitting on the kitchen windowsill trying to work out how
to catch snowflakes- every minute or so a paw snakes out to try...

Weird - OT by
CatNipped[_2_]
Yesterday, when eating a soft pita Panini(sp?) a piece of a tooth broke off
(when I crunched down, at first I thought it was glass that had somehow
gotten into the (Lean Cuisine) sandwich. I know I've been neglecting my
teeth, I was trying to wait until I had saved up the co-payment to get them...

"ALL YOUR BOX ARE BELONG TO STINKY" by
Kreisleriana
What with Xmas a week away, and all the shopping (especially online) I
am up to my butt in boxes and paper, at the moment. THey're
downstairs, they're upstairs. I was watching TV, and half-watching
Dante jump in and out of a shoe box, and rattle the paper around, when
Stinky came in, and it's so...

Baby Boy Bengal (unknown birth day - May 15, 2009) by
Smokie Darling (Annie)
Actually, he wasn't a baby. I have no idea how old he was. I tried
to catch him, all winter. Tried to show him he could trust me. He
had begun to allow me to get near, but not close. He ate after
sundown, because he was terrified of some of the other Tom cats
around.
My neighbor, who speaks...

A Life by
John Kimmel
I spent this evening waiting for Forty-two to come and get his dinner. I
didn't expect him to show up, which is why I was waiting, I guess.
Yesterday morning at 4 am I awoke to a cat screaming as my neighbor's dog
killed it. I think it was Forty-two since the other strays are all
accounted...

OT Mom purrs by
Karen Chuplis
My mom has been admitted into the hospital with pneumonia. I'm a bit upset
because she has not been feeling well. She went to the doctor because she
had blood in her urine and a back ache. He said the back ache was unrelated
and gave her bactrim for the infection but he never followed up on why...

Green vs. red laser toys by
Ted Davis[_3_]
Has anyone compared the way cats respond to green lasers used a toys
(spots on the floor/wall) to the way they respond to the more common red
lasers?
The fact that most cats eyes reflect greenish light led me to question
whether they can actually see the red spots all that well. However,...

Skin [BW?][Long] by
Yowie
Cats are curious creatures, in both senses of the word. For the 14 or so
years that I've known Shmoggleberry, he's had a phobia of bare skin against
his fur. Well, not a *phobia* because obviously he likes a good scritching,
and he has no problem with bare skin next to his fur if his fangs are...

Job purrs requested by
Dan M
Nancy has been having an awful time of it with her job.
Her previous job, at a small local paper, had her working 60 hours per
week (on salary, of course). She transferred to a larger paper in the same
group, and it looked like things were to be better. But the parent company
did some internal...

Snake just came out of the ceiling!!! by
badwilson
Ok, I now know the feeling of complete and utter paralyzing terror. I
always laughed at how they show people freeze up in the movies, but
now I know it's totally true.
It's the King's birthday here and Dennis and I were out for dinner at
the beach with friends. We got home and were just standing...

Spiders have more charisma than cats by
Ted
Spiders? Charisma? I know, odd thought, but that's what a staff member
on a UK cat magazine told me.
I personally have a fond affection for a Tonkinese called GoldTop who
spends half an hour every evening fetching underwear from bedroom
drawers and then yowls round the house, dragging said...

Well, it's nearly 21.30 hrs here in the UK. The Land Down Under is 10 hours
ahead, which will make it 07.30 on a Monday morning down there. Many, many good
vibes heading the way of the Yowie Family. I wonder if we are cyberaunts and
cyber uncles yet???

Cyst is Benign by
jmcquown
Got the lab results back on Persia's cyst. Turns out it's a bit like
diverticulitis; food and stuff got into a pouch inside the bladder. The
body tried to heal that up by covering the cyst over like an oyster does
irritations when forming a pearl. At any rate, it's benign and hopefully
this is...
