No teeth, what to eat by
gifer
My cat doesn't have any teeth now, 11 y/o Himalayan female. She will
eat/lick the juice from the wet cat feed, and the other cat will eat the
left overs.
She will not touch the sauce if I mix water with the bits to wash off more
of the juice and then give her all the juice and the "cleaner" bits...

attack of the kitten by
Rach
Hi,
I have a siamese kitten - he is only about 10 weeks old and is going through
an 'attacking everything' period. I know hes playing and learning to hunt,
but im starting to look like a scratching post :(
Does anyone have any idea how long this stage lasts?
Thanks for any thoughts.

Siamese Cats by
Wade Power
I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a breeder in Nova Scotia for
siamese cats? I am looking for one, but do not want to pay the outrageous
Pet Store price.
thanks

Blood in feces by
Dick Smyth
Our seven year old male Ocecat Rudy now and then has blood in his bowel
movement. This is not a constant thing. Nor does he show any other symptoms.
He is active, affectionate, maintains his weight and appetite and shows no
signs of illness.
Any thoughts???

Synulox, cat in distress. by
Dermuid
I have just given my cat synulox drops as perscribed by the vet, 1.25 ml
straight from the bottle, it has caused him to salivate quite badly and has
caused him some distress, does this mean he has had an allergic reaction?

good cat by
Yesteryears
Hello,
I have owned a most wonderful gray tabby for almost 4 years. I wanted a feline companion, but I got even more. This cat was at a
shelter when I found her. She had 7 days left. They said she was found wandering in the street with just a pink collar on her. It is
strange how I picked her out....

In how many countries is microchipping pets compulsory?
So far, I know that it became compulsory in Israel a few years ago for
dogs to be microchipped (not so sure about all cats - the last I heard
was that if they are kept indoors the whole time, they don't have to be
microchipped, but this may...

Keeping the vermin out. by

ATTN, all keen gardeners !
Cats are now universally recognised as the gardener's public enemy No.1.

Trick to make cat drink more water by
Ablang
One day when I was sitting on the can, I noticed my kitty displaying
some strange behavior. She jumped up onto the sink and into the bowl (not
unusual), and was trying to lick water from the faucet for the 1st time (it
doesn't drip at all).
So that kind of told me that she isn't getting enough...

Cats alone... how long? by
Ablang
I was wondering... How long has anyone here left their cat(s) alone
when going on a short vacation, with everything taken care of, of course
(automatic pet feeder, plenty of water, lots of litterboxes out, etc).
What's the longest you've left your cat(s) alone, and what extra
things did you put...

Staywell magnetic cat flap by
Dermuid
I thought I would up grade and bough a staywell 400 magnetised doodah with
authentic mouse ball collar, well let me tell you here and now that the
magnetic cat flap is useless.
The reason being is the magnetic collar part must come into contact with the
base of the cat flap for it to work otherwise...

IAMS DOG AND CAT FOOD WARNING by
kelly
If you buy dog or cat food from the Iams Pet Food Company, you need to
visit a website iamscruelty.com.
Apparently, Iams keeps cats and dogs to TEST their foods on before it
goes to market. I had no idea pet food manufacturers used animals to
make a better food - but some do! Iams keeps cats and...

Keeping cats from littering in garden? by
C Coward
We've recently moved into a new house, cleared loads of weeds from the
garden in preparation for doing something with it, and currently have a
garden that consists only of soil. There are apparently a few cats in the
area which (perhaps unsurprisingly) find this an extremely attractive area

Claws by

Hello,
My cat is continually scratching my neighbours cars - they have caught him
scratching up and down the wings, and on the bonnet. They have been decent
enough about it, but patience only lasts for so long!
My question is, is it legal or ethical or possible to get a cat's...
