Serious question about my LATE cat!!!? by Slickwater
So my cat was about 20 years old and the thing looked like it was in agony. I have been walkin reported to be walking sideways lately and loosing a ton of hair. Upon inspecting the clumps of hair that were falling out, I saw that they were due to these red lesions on the cats back. For fear of some...

new litter going on 4 weeks by Wendy
They all weight around a lb. The two boys are drinking their formula from a bowl. Share isn't in their vocabulary. I have to give them separate bowls as they drink with their front legs spread eagle over the bowl as if to protect what is theirs. The girls show no interest in the bowl and insist on...

Cat hair, long, short shorter by Aimee S
This may sound silly, but I am wondering if anyone has checked this out. From my experince, with cats, it seems like cats with really short hair are more hyper than cats with short but fluffy thicker hair. Seems like the longer hair the cat has, the more mellow the cat is. I'm sure this isn't ALL...

Another cat saved by declawing. by He Who Walks
My cat (DQB) had been tearing up my furniture (as well as my patience) by clawing everything, particularly when I would have to be being out of town for two or three days at a time. My friends Ken and Kathy told me about the success they had with declawing their equally destructive cat so I...

Should I take her back to the vet? by Nord Stjern
It's been pretty much business as usual around my house, until I took in my last foster cat. Mina was turned in at my vet with the request 'euthanize as we are moving out of state'. Mina is two years old, so the vet called me to ask whether I could take her and put her up for adoption. They...

Colony feral found dead by [email protected]
I care for a feral colony at work. The colony includes about 28 cats, all trapped/tested/vaccinated and fixed. Today I found one of my brood in the parking lot, dead. She was a true feral, never a bit socialized except knowing who brought the food and where he put it. I'd known her for over three...
