pushing liquids/struvite crystals by
Jean B.
As you know, Mingy was just hospitalized because he had a lot of
struvite crystals. Now that he is home, I am trying to get him to
drink, but most of my usual tactics and even the diluted tuna
water are failing. He did just lick the liquid off of can of
Science Diet Savory Cuts (chicken), but...

Foster cat needs home by
[email protected]
I am currently fostering a beautiful orange female kitten, about 5-6
months old. She has been spayed. Got her around thanksgiving-she was
totally afraid of us and just hid in the closet.
She is wonderful with other cats, now allows us to pet her, loves to

Liver biopsy - average cost? by
Mike
Does anyone know what the average cost of a liver biospy is with
everything included (biopsy, ultrasound, and office visit)? I know
the costs vary from place to place but I'd like to hear what others
have paid.

OT- new law proposed.... by
Gail
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - All dogs go to heaven. And the ones from West
Hollywood may now get there with their ears and tails intact.
The mayor of West Hollywood -- a liberal, pet-embracing city adjacent to Los
Angeles that two years ago brought America a ban on the declawing of cats --
has...

Follow up - to So Worried what Could This Be? and question for Phil by
sarah
Just a quick update - my cat had a check up tonight and her heart rate and
temperature were all normal.
The vet now thinks she may be suffering from episodic low blood pressure and
she is booked in for Monday week to have it rechecked.
She's still having the potassium supplement but has only been...

Louis and Tiger outside in the snow by
Brian Link
We have a nice dusting of new snow (mebbe half an inch) tonight in
Minnesota. I took Louis the Bengal outside on his leash, and he
scrupulously avoided even going near it. He found all the dry spots
under the porch and the second-floor roof. Tiger frantically pawed at
the picture window. Louis...

agressive cat by
BILL INDREBOE
I have 7 all indoor cats.
Simba is 14
Spooky is one of 3 that are 5.
Both are neutered males.
Spooky has taken to harrassing Simba almost all time time and even though I
setup a high, safe place for Simba he will find it and get up there and
whack him around.

Breeding cats.. really need to cage males? =( by
Brian Link
It occurred to me, while surfing various cat sites, that if you bred
cats (only experience with breeders I've had is acquiring our
wonderful Bengal, Louis), you'd have to either have the males outdoors
or in cages, or else they'd spray everything in site!
Is that what happens? What a pity! I was...

Carpping on the lawn by

Hi
We have a 8 month old British Shorthair. About 3 months ago he stopped using
the litter tray for poo on a regular at basis, only using it for a wee,
which we thought was great. However, we have just been to a corner of our
garden we rarely goto and there was 5 or 6 packages of poo on the lawn....

Had a little bit of a setback after the vet recommended taking Moses down
from 1.2 cc to .8 cc of Prednisone a day for his IBD. (He takes the liquid
