Stroking your cat by Christina Websell
Boyfriend likes to get on my knee, more so when it's cold. After kneading like crazy for a few minutes he settles down. I like to stroke him now and again then and he seems to like it, however every time I pass my hand over him it seems to make his skin twitch. Does this mean it makes him...

Boyfie made a mistake by Christina Websell
I made a chilli-con-carne tonight and I like it very hot. I heard him licking the pan I made it in, still on the cooker top before I washed it. As he knows very well he is not supposed to do this, I let him do it for a few minutes. He jumped down the very second he heard me get up from my...

Boyfie has been badly hurt by Christina Websell
He came in at 11pm last night with some intestines protruding from a wound in his side. I panicked so much that I could hardly speak to the vet on the phone, I couldn't seem to control my breathing. I rushed him to the surgery where he underwent an emergency operation. The vet rang me during...

Boyfie update by Christina Websell
In case you didn't see my reply to Judith. He's doing well but he has to remain in hospital for now. Oh, my poor boy. You know, when he first came in, I thought he'd caught some prey and eaten it and some of the organs were stuck on his fur, so I pulled it to get it off. When I realised they were...

Boyfriend is by Christina Websell
Medically stable atm and doing well tonight I can tell you now that I thought he was going to die before I got him to the vet. And I could not breathe for panicking. I have never panicked like that "ever"

It would be a great idea by Christina Websell
If you all sent a get well message to Boyfriend here http://www.chinehousevets.co.uk/ I'd told them before that he has a web following but I'm not sure they believe me. If you do this, they'll know it's true. :-)

Now Boyfie is doing well by Christina Websell
I sense he's boring you all now so I will update only if asked. He's great tonight (except for being so shaved in a house without central heating) Boyfie sez bye for a while

Boyfriend is doing well by Christina Websell
see my post to Ann. I never ever want to go through that midnight rush to the vet again. I'm not supposed to drive in the dark because can't see to do it through eye ops, but hey, I got there and back. I don't know quite how. I saw quite a few police cars roaming about on the way there -...

Facebook by Christina Websell
I finally bit the bullet and created an account. I've been patient as my employers advised against it for anyone working in a frontline childcare team, and to wait quite a long time after you left, so it will be three years on 31 October. Should be OK now ;-) OMG, it looks very complicated and...

My friend June had burglars by Christina Websell
Last Friday. They didn't harm any of her very old dogs in the house, they just stole her laptop. They didn't steal her puppies either and locked the gate behind them so her dogs didn't get out. I guess that's the best burglars we can wish for. Tweed

Evey time by Christina Websell
that I wonder if it's KFC's time for the Bridge it is not. She likes to confuse her vet with that too. Ah, you should see her perhaps to make a decision

Boyfie has ESP by Christina Websell
Kitty did not eat well yesterday but I managed to find a "chicken & ham" cat food in a foil tray for her today. I gave her half of it at 5 pm and she loved it. I wanted to give her the rest of it just now. Boyfriend so covets her yummy food - I'm sure he doesn't think it's fair she gets it and...

OT whippet show by Christina Websell
I can hardly go to them. but I went to one today. They give me terrible whippet fever. There was one I wanted to take home, so beautiful. Her owner would not part with her, apparently she is winning everywhere, so I have not lost my *eye* for a good one . She won best puppy at Crufts last year...

Emergency purrs for KFC please by Christina Websell
I was admitted to hospital last Tuesday evening and ended up having to have an emergency operation. I was discharged home a few hours ago. What June did not tell me until last night was that KFC went missing on Wednesday and has not been seen since. I'll explain a bit more tomorrow but have had...

Boyfriend has noticed by Christina Websell
For the past few days Boyfie has been going in to the lounge where KFC ate to see if she had left anything on her plate that he could scarf up. He always did this and sometimes he was lucky. Her plate is not there now but he still looks just in case. Today he went over to her folded fleece...

All the people by Christina Websell
that we used to have still rush back here for consolation if their cats die. Facebook isn't adequate for that, is it? Let me tell you all that unless you all post to this group regularly it will die and you won't get any purrs and prayers from anyone.

The cannabis farm (OT) by Christina Websell
In my village is no more. Although I told my friend I'd like to try it just once and she said she'd get me some (just the once) she didn't. Best not to really. I suspect she hoped it was a silly idea, which it was. I love this new transgender friend. She is absolutely great. We get on very...

He's back in by Christina Websell
Phew. and now he isn't going out again until tomorrow. He acts like it never happened. I won't tell you how I could not get logs in for my woodburner in case he got out, so I got a gas bottle for my heater to keep us warm It was a bit nippy but we are both fine. I stayed in and never moved when...
