Toe question by
Nanny
I noticed today that the little toe on Yoschi's left back leg (the toe on
the outside) is sticking up and to the right over the next toe. I wouldn't
be surprised if it's broken, but he's doing everything he normally does, is
happy and playful, only he doesn't allow me to touch it(but he won't let...

Fancy Feast! by
JHBennett
I should imagine a Google search for Waterford Crystal ought to get you in
the arena of something suitable. Be advised, Waterford may require you to
upgrade to fresh shrimp and select Sushi, as is hand fed at Jo Firey's.
Cheers,
Jack

Barn kitties by
Karen
I mentioned I'm taking lessons and the lady has three barn kitties that for
me are much too inquisitive. I know they will grow out of having to play in
the arena where we ride, but right now, they like nothing better than to
follow us in and wrestle in the dirt! While walking I wasn't nervous...

Gizmo Keeping Watch... by
Gizela
I think Gizmo has been taking part in a rotating roster of "street watch"
undertaken by the indoor cats in my street. This is how it works.....she
sits happily next to me, watching TV, then wakes up suddenly, runs to the
window, where she sits for 3 minutes then joins me back on the lounge...

The cats of the Blue Cave by
badwilson
Last night, I went out to this local bar called the Blue Cave. The Blue
Cave is a bit of a dump, but some of the pilots from the base here play in a
band and the Blue Cave lets them take the stage once a week, so I try to go
and show my support.
The Blue Cave is also very aptly named, because it...

Bummer by
David Yehudah
Zooming down the boulevard today with Patty on our motorcycles, we
passed a cat that had just been run over in the street. There wasn't
much left of what had been apparently a half-grown kitten of the tuxedo
type. As we passed I couldn't help but notice how much he looked like my
Traveller, alevai...

Update on JMS and Buddy by
[email protected]
Here's a short update on JMS, the guy who writes Babylon 5, and Buddy,
the kitten he rescued from a pipe deep in his yard (at great cost to
himself). It's a happy ending! (And of course, he only made this decision
for the *kitten's* sake... :))

Dragonfliy hunter by
Larry Osborne
I got a bit of a chuckle, last night.
I was working at my computer, usually the only light in the room when doing
so is my desk lamp and a little light spilling in from the hall, when my two
cats come charging into the room with Peepers leading and Smudge trailing.
I am a little puzzled...

Weeble update: It's hard to wear the little buggar out! by
Magic Mood JeepĀ©
Weeble LOVES to play now. And climb. he climbs up on the bed, the sofa.
and US (not good when you're wearing shorts)!!! We've blocked off the
kitchen (we don't want him getting behind the stove or fridge), so now he
wanders all over the house. Caught him playing 'chase me' with Lizzie the
other...

Perfect Sunday Morning (long) by
Steve Touchstone
Got up early this morning, well at least early for a Sunday. Even
after 10 years after retirement from the Army, I still wake up about 5
most mornings. Most of the time I just turn over and go back to sleep,
but this morning Sammy noticed me awake and decided it was a perfect
time for some quality...

How did you name your cat(s)? by
Jill McQuown
Just curious. Names are funny things. I know people ponder long and hard
about what to name children. My mother confided in me she was going to name
me after both of my grandmothers, with a hyphen. Hannah-Lena. OH NO!
Thank goodness she came to her senses!
As you know, Persia found me (it was...

Hairballs: Persia doesn't feel good ? by
jmcquown
A few times in the last week she's coughed up hairballs. She's normally
right here with me when I'm online, but now she's curled up on the bed. She
chatters at me when I walk into the bedroom. And she purrs contentedly when
I stroke her. But she's content to stay there and just snooze.
I've...

Selena's herb garden by
Julie Cook
I have a built-in, brick planter in my front hallway. For several years
I have used it as a sort of bench...I should admit that Hobbes has used
it as a bed...because when Hobbes was a kitten he thought it made a
great litterbox if there was any dirt in it. This week it has begun
getting cooler at...

Panic mouse by
Victor M. Martinez
I saw the Panic Mouse just sitting there and decided to see what the
kittens would think of it. I found the wand and a fresh "mouse" and put it
together. They went crazy for it! None of the adults had a chance to play,
Fez and Rufous would not let go of the thing. Unfortunately, they...
