hello from Bunter by
Brenda
Sitting here at the computer, I felt a cat rubbing back and forth against my
leg. I reached down to pet my affectionate little friend - and my hand met
only air. I looked down and couldn't see any cats - yet I could still feel
him rubbing against me.
After the rubbing stopped, I heard the bench...

Minke visits the vet by
David Stevenson
So did Nanki Poo, but I could not hear him. A Siamese in full cry is
impressive, and Minke silenced both Nanki Poo and two Alsatian sized
dogs.
NP had his regular shot, the vet said Minke was ok, and he found a
flea. So the cats got de-fleaed. Minke screamed at the receptionists
and we all went...

A new vet (just for Peaches the lovebird) but... by
jmcquown
The band on Peaches' leg has really been giving her grief; she kept pulling
at it like she was trying to get it off. Well, it got so irritating she
started feather plucking around that leg. Uh oh, had to nip that in the
bud! So I got Persia's vet to refer me to a good avian vet. After...

2.5 cats now by
John Biltz
Bruiser's little friend Mathew has almost moved in. He is spending hours
a day here. Last night I had to run him out to go to bed. I think he
prefers the food here. I leave dry food out for the cats to graze and he
likes it. Strangely, Maya doesn't seem to mind. I think it is because
he keeps...

Hey Now! (First visit here) Holy Smokes! 40,000 messages??!! by
MarkNewbury
Hey Now!
Mark here and start with saying that NO other creatures on the planet
are as beautiful as CATS! All cats big and small, tame or wild.
The folks who built the great pyramids knew this thousands
of years before our current calendar even existed!
Next I say: HOLY SMOKES! 40,000...

Can somebody please ... by
dirtylitterboxofferingstospammers
.... dangle *him* in the jaws of a croc... *please*...
The way some celebrities use their kids as props in their act makes me want to
puke. A stunt too far methinks... I never did like Irwin, and now I know why!
Cheers, helen s

Weeble update - no new piccies (yet) by
Magic Mood Jeep©
Not much new here, his neuter went fine - the next day he was back to normal
and except for his shaved 'nads you wouldn't have been able to tell he's had
surgery at all. At the time that he had his surgery, he weighed 4.11
pounds, but now he doesn't register on our little postage scale (it...

Civet cats? by
Sherry
I has read that in China ten thousand civet cats have been ordered killed
because of the alleged connection with SARS. Ten thousand... it boggles the
mind.
I just hope they are killed in a humane fashion. Anyway, can anyone tell me
what a civet cat is?

LOTR3 by

We'd tried to get tickets for 3 days (it opened here on the 26th), but the
earliest session we could get tickets to was this morning's. We generally
don't do mornings well, especailly *Sunday* mornings, which gives an
indication of our anticipation and enthusiasm for this movie. We managed to
get...

B & C Two Bites by
Bev
Does anyone remember the delicious meal B & C made of the Xmas cake. I
repaired the cake as best I could and put it under a proper plastic
cover. Cats do have a great sense of smell.
Bonnie found the covered cake in a second. I had it on a little table
in the middle of the room ready to feed...

Purring Lovingly Together by
Bev
Billy Boy, a lilac Burmese bred by Lois, lived with my sister Myra and
now lives with her son and his wife, Graham and Rosemary. Rosemary told
me about this delightful incident when I was over there at Xmas.
When Graham is snoozing he makes window rattling snores.
Billy Boy has it all worked out,...

Oliver is fine. My computer is not! by
Margaret Fine
Oliver is fine after is little drunken interlude New Years Eve. He
awoke the next morning and seemed his usual lovable self. If he did
have a hang over he must have slept it off since he had his little drink
early in the evening.
My computer did no drinking but is in a bad way and is being sent...
