Does Your Vet... by
jmcquown[_2_]
Let you in the exam room with your cat? Persia's vet in Tennessee did.
The only exception was when she was microchipped. The vet took her in the
back, ostensibly to weigh her. When he came back he said the deed was done,
she's chipped. He didn't want me to watch because he said the size of...

well they tried to park on the tiny bit that isn't, next to my left hand
neighbour (they are the right hand ones) and it interferes with her getting
her car out.
Well, she went ape****. Let's just say she told them very firmly not to park
there, and never to even put one millimetre of their car...

Cats and Dogs - BFFs by

Tilt and Turn Windows by
Lesley[_4_]
I was talking to a friend about his MIL's cat who suddenly and sadly
developed a saddle thrombus and died and he mentioned the cat was a
kitten one of his cats and he mentioned the momcat. They'd gone out
and left the window slightly tilited and think she was outside and
something made her run in...

(OT) House for Sale (mine) by
jmcquown[_2_]
The "association" where I live finally got on my last nerve. John is here
visiting. Since I have to pay to eat at the club (whether I actually eat
there or not) we decided to go there for lunch on Saturday. The weather has
been slightly cooler due to lots of rain, so we were wearing blue...

HAPPY DANCE Big time by
Matthew[_3_]
I just got the news that there are no rips or tears with any of the tendons,
the bone has repaired fine and the rest of the test have come back negative.
SO NO SURGERY
I am dancing a jig right now. If I would have had to have surgery they
would have cut my inner foot from my big toe running...

What goes up by
Lesley Madigan
Yesterday morning as I was getting dressed for work, Sarsi was playing
with something on the floor- she kept looking at me asking if I'd mind
throwing it so I picked it up it was a tiny bit of polystyrene so i
took aim- Sarsi immediately got ready to run and I threw it. Alas it
didn't fly very far...

(OT - Sad) The Cycle of Life by
jmcquown[_2_]
Last week John and I realized a pair of cardinals had built a nest in the
pyracantha (a climbing-type shrub, mine is more like a tree) right next to
the window by my kitchen table. We were having such fun watching the mama
and papa birds coming and going.
Then a couple of days ago, late...

Persia is a Goofy Cat by
jmcquown[_2_]
Persia has a number of kitty toys in the living room. A crinkly mylar ball,
a bottle-brush mouse (literally made from a natural fiber bottle brush with
a sisal rope tail with a bell on it, and little felt eyes and ears). She
has mousies that rattle (they used to have tails). Then there's her...

Even indoor cats complain about the weather by
Joy
Pickles and Waffles - especially Waffles - are NOT happy! It has been
raining here, and we're getting the occasional thunderstorm. When the
thunder booms, or the rain suddenly becomes a downpour, they don't like it.
I've had one or the other of them on my lap quite a bit this morning. At
one...

It's this week by
Christina Websell
In 2009 that Kitty Farmcat was kidnapped and put down while I was in
hospital.
Bless her heart, she had never stepped foot outside the house for years but
the door needed to be open so Boyfie could get in and out so my friend could
care for them.
Anyway, she felt the need to look for me. She...

Story of Betty's path by

Betty's Path
All my life I had walked forward alone. Until one day, our paths met and
merged, and you and I, my love, walked together, side by side. Me with
large, hoomin steps, and you with dainty, trotting steps.
Thus paired, we traveled as though we were one. When you struggled to
follow, I...

My daughter's vet by
Joy
I just got the following from my daughter. Oscar is one of her two cats.
The second one is the email from her vet.
Our vet is amazing. We haven't seen him in a couple of months, but
he checks in regularly to see how Oscar is doing on his asthma
meds. There's no charge for the email exchanges,...

It has come to my attention by
Christina Websell
That Boyfriend has peed in my bath, so I am taking the litter box upstairs
into the bathroom to see if he will use it up there when he is desperate.
He will not use it, no way, if it's in the kitchen, apparently and he has
pooed three times over the years in the bath.
I don't mind too much as it...
