Heath and Heater Tea - obligatory cat by
Bridget[_2_]
I need for someone in another country (not USA) to aid and abet me in
getting some Heath and Heather Tea, night time variety into the USA. It
seems that they have changed their packaging and it no longer meets USA
labeling criteria and they aren't very likely to go redesign it just for
us...

Most of our vitamins are coming from China by
Bill Stock
This is not exactly a new story, but I was watching W5 (our version of 60
minutes) last night and they were talking about the impossibility of buying
foods without made in China content. One item they looked at was breakfast
cereal; most companies did not track country of origin or would not...

Pearl news and Ping Julie and Same lung lobes by
Karen
I'm pinging Julie because I *think* Sam has a collapsed lobe? Do you know
which one? Your vet is much more experienced than mine (Pearl is their first
inhaled meds kitty). Here is what has been going on with us:
We had xrays for the first time in a couple of years yesterday along with a
bunch...

Where is my Cat Man? by
[email protected]
A friend sent me this poem today and I thought others would
appreciate it
too. Where is my Cat Man?
CAT MAN
My fears for the flight of the planet subside
in spite of the struggle and strife,
when I see a man, big and brawny, who can
find room for a cat in his life.

[TW] Blacky has left for Rainbow Bridge by
Micha[_2_]
On Monday, 22nd October at about 4:30 pm our vet put him out of his
misery.
After his stay at the animal's hospital we gained some hope. But back
at home he ate less from day to day, no favourite food, no treats
could help. With all his dwindling strength he struggeld against
giving him medicine...

Purrs please by
Karen
Pearl could use some purrs. I'm too tired to go into it right now. I
don't think it is life threatening but she is awfully uncomfortable and
some purrs would be majorly appreciated.

Disturbing message at work today by
[email protected]
Late this afternoon there was a message from our IT department
to everyone in our building saying this:
"If anyone here drives a gray Toyota, license plate # blah blah,
someone has reported that there is a cat stuck in your car engine.
Please come down to the parking lot immediately to help...

Moving Day by
EvelynVogtGamble(Divamanque)
Well, tomorrow the movers are coming, so I may be
computerless for a couple of days, until I get it hooked up
again. Melisande and Cendrillon are being boarded at their
new vets. (Actually, the "Pet Lodge" affiliate of their new
vet.) I find they are far less stressed out if I can board...

Missing Shmogg by
Yowie
Thought I was OK, thought I was mostly 'over it', thought the earring (which
still hurts - more on that later) was working.
But last night for no particular reason i just broke down again. For a cat
that in his last weeks pretty much only slept and drank, and whose main
interactions with me was...

Fire Purrs by
Jeanne
Can purrs steer the California wildfires? I dunno, but I'd like to
request at least some good thoughts be sent the way of some of my
relatives in California. They live in Laguna Hills, in Orange County,
and the Santiago fire is "just over the hill."
They're not under evacuation orders yet, but...

The Flying Feline Wallenda by
Ginger-lyn
One of those times you really wish you had the video camera in hand . . . .
I'm just standing in the hall, talking to DH. The hall has some junk
piled up that has yet to find a home, and a reproduction shaker rocking
chair that was my mother's.
I am aware of Arthur sitting in the rocking...

Archer is out a bit by
CatNipped[_2_]
I let him out of the kennel just now to let him roam around a bit and get
some exercise. At the moment he seems subdued enough - he's not zooming
around anywhere. He's not even limping, exactly, it's more like he's
walking a bit crooked. Even after just a short time in the cast, though,
his...

Poohbear and Max NEED your help by
[email protected][_2_]
I truly understand your concerns, as I thought the same things. I
would have liked for the fundraiser to make the payment directly to
the vet's office. But, I just got done speaking with one of the
receptionist's from the office. They are closed after Noon on Saturday
and all day Sunday, but I know...

[OT] Poem for Autumn by
Ginger-lyn
I finally got all my poetry moved over from my older computer to my more
recent one. I was thinking about this poem lately, and thought I would
share it.
