wrestling by John Doe[_2_]
I've always enjoyed wrestling (real wrestling, not professional wrestling). The newcomer female is bigger than my male. And she is a bully. Now they are warming up to each other, they are frequently wrestling. Most of it is friendly, but sometimes they get rough. He is probably in it for the...

Wow, my last litter is arriving right now by sheelagh
It may be 2.41am in the UK, but Momma cat has decided that it is time to have her kittens. She came and called me to tell me that it was time, & got me out of bed to come and hold one of her paw's for her. So far we have 2little blind white mice, but I am sure that there are a few more to come...

Wow! by CatNipped
That was easier than I thought it would be!!! I don't interact with Jessie as much as our other three because Jessie is *such* a "daddy's girl". I thought I'd have to fight her tooth and nail (on the losing end, of course) to get two pills down her throat in between getting two syringes of A/D...

wound won't heal due to scatching by atalog
Hi, My cat Purl was wounded (open abrasion) in what I am assuming was a fight. By the following day it was clear that she was making it worse by licking and scratching. The wound is right on the side of her neck so I didn't think I should use a cone around her head. I have been using a cuff and...

Would you starve your pet so it will live longer? by James
There are people starving themselves in order to live longer. It's been proven in rats that limited food resulted in longer life spans. So would you? Or at least don't give food treats?

Would you leave food out for raccoons? by Kiran
I have a cat but this is not about her, it is about a group of raccoons (one adult and five children). They have been spotted sniffing around our and our neighbors' yards and porchces this summer, mostly late nights. General consensus on the street is to have no food or food smells that will...

Would you clone your pet if possible? by James

Would Feliway help? by Elizabeth Blake
One of the cats at work, Harriet, had had problems with constipation for the past 2+ months and was at the vet/hospitalized 5 times in a 6 week period. Since her last appointment (9/16) she has not been constipated and has been going to the bathroom regularly. I've had her back & forth between my...

would Feliway help when I bring RugRat home? by [email protected]
I've never hear of Feliway till I saw another post about it. Can some of you folks give me a beginner's guide to Feliway, how you use it and what it does in your households? And also if and how it would help when we bring RugRat (9 month old freshly neutered male) into our household of two...

Would a former stud boy cat make a suitable pet? by catto
I've been to rescue centres to find a pet cat. I want an long-haired adult male neuter, in good health and with a friendly outgoing temperment. I've been offered a cat and would like some advice please before I commit to see/adopt him. This is his how he is described: "3 year old male neuter....

worst violence against a kitten ever recorder by pinox2000
omg, this movieclip is so violent and terrifying it kept me awake for days. it's a shame youtube still ain't deleting it. If you thought that video about a soldier throwing a puppy off a bridge was brutal, you don't wanna watch this clip. Whoever did this is a monster and should be sentenced to...

Worst litter ever! by John Doe
I was in a hurry. The local megastore was out of my usual brand. I bought four 25 pound boxes of Fresh Step Fast Acting. If you use a bright flashlight in the litter box area, you can see how much dust there is. When I poured the new litter in there, smoke billowed out of the box. Really weird,...

Hi everyone. I have a Mancoon who’s coming up on his 15th birthday at the end of March. He has been diabetic since he was 12 and soon after he was diagnosed, he moved to California with me from Arizona after my dad passed away… It was an adjustment to say the least, since I had another, very...

Worried Mum by \kls\
Hi everyone, I'm new to posting so please be gentle with me. We adopted Milly from the RSPCA in November and she is going to be spayed on Tuesday. She's 6 months old and (I know I am biased) she's gorgeous! I'm really worried about the op. It's like when my daughter went on her first trip from...

Worried about my cat by [email protected]
Everything seemed fine, until a little after dinner Missy cat ran under the bed and won't come out. She growls at my other cat, Mr Spock (normal), but she is also growling at me, which she's never done before. It's a low long growl like I've never heard from her before. She's been there for...

Worried About Archer by CatNipped[_2_]
I wrote a while back about Archer breaking his leg. I didn't know he was using his litter box when I hit the garage door opener and he panicked at the sound, went flying into the house and hit his leg on the door sill (we have an attached garage and keep the litter boxes there - the cats use a...
