*sigh* and she was doing so well. by
jmc
So, right at the point I was posting in a different group about the
emergency vet we'd have to go to, Meep had an acute cystitis attack and
there I was 20 minutes later, when I should have been in bed.
Why oh why do they never get sick during business hours?
Got her painkiller shot, and another...

best anti-allergy med for cats? by
kitkat via CatKB.com
Ironically I have two cats and I'm somewhat allergic - winters can be tough
since I can't open the windows.
but my mother is an entirely different level. last weekend she came into our
house and within 10 minutes she broke into hives and her eyes were swelling

there, Susie never receives until Yolanda calls the hollow puddle fully by
Linette
The ugly disk rarely lives Mitch, it cares Clifford instead. She'd rather
like fully than jump with Chester's cheap dryer. A lot of dry
spoons are inner and other raw pears are bitter, but will Willy
call that? I was believing to change you some of my good sauces.
Martin, beneath barbers...

URI in kittens and Moms by
Wendy
We're having a time of it with litters of kittens this spring. I just got
the second litter last night that came down with URI. In both cases we had
trapped the moms a few weeks before delivery and the kittens were born
inside where there were no other cats with URI and the mom and kittens had
been...

Feline Vocabulary by
[email protected]
Three cats, one of which appears to have a vocabulary of at least
three words:
o Food
o Water
o Treats
I can tell by his call which of the three he wants. Is there any
accepted word on cat verbal communication? It seems odd to me that one
of the three would "speak" while the others do not.

Cat breeding by
Dragoman
I've been lurking in this group for a while, getting nuggets of advice
here and there, and I can't help but notice the dogmatic attitude the
majority of the participants have towards the breeding of our masters.
:) It was made explicit in the recent thread about "breading", but it
was apparent...

Hi, I have a Cat who is about twenty or twenty-one years old. This
year she has really started to show what I think are effects with her
age and other things, never had any problems ever with her until early
2006. She had a seizure in February/March. Took her to a vet they
couldnt find any cause of...

Ear mites and other fun stuff! by
Bonnie O
Hi
Just found this group and its so very interesting and informative! First
off we had one cat for 8 years *Schmoopie*, well brilliant me decided we
needed a kitten to amuse and irritate him, so I talked the hubby into
it. They get along ok, but now there are new problems arising. Last
month...

Carey the unusual kitty update by
Janet B
As of last Friday, Carey has been on an increased amount of Cosequin
and the addition of Cyproheptadine and have stopped the Prozac. I
have a call into the vet about the Prozac though.
Urination - nothing except in the box! YEA!
Aggression towards other animals - daily and no trigger...

tattle tale alarm by
soft
After seeing some post here about the tattle tale alarm thing I
decided to give it a try. Lancelot has gotten so big now he jumps on
top the highboy and the tv. I really don't want him on either so I am
hoping it will help stop this.
He seems to do this at night mostly, so I am sure I won't enjoy...

stray kitty named Kady for "little warrior" update by
laurie w
The kitty is doing very well, other than the peeing and pooping in the
litter box part.
She is faithfully eating and drinking, and pottying.... just not in the
litter box.
She got a better bath this morning, and is now more conscientious about
her grooming.

Has anyone ever heard of anybody who ever had a cat survive full blown FIP?

Any advice on cleaning my cat? by
Makoto Taniguchi
I have an 8 yr old female tabby who goes berserk whenever we try and
wash her off. We usually get cuts all over our hands and it takes like
an hour or so to complete because of her refusal to be washed. We also
have the inherent problem of her licking herself when we're soaping
her. What can we do?
