KFC would like to say by Christina Websell
How well she is at the moment. She eats like a horse. Today, I gave her quite a small breakfast of cat food instead of her chicken. I'd like her to have it to get taurine and and she ate some of it. By 3 pm she said she was starving since Felix Tuna didn't do the trick. She wanted chicken and...

I tried to pick Boyfie up. by Christina Websell
Even though he sleeps on my knee every time I sit down I am still not allowed to pick him up. He panicked and struggled to get away. I thought after all these years he might trust me to to pick him up. Not so. I tried twice. The result was the same. I wish he would realise he is safe here now.

Little present by Christina Websell
On the doormat, a small rattie baby, deceased. At least he's stopped putting them on the carpet in front of my kettle which guarantees me stepping on it for a surprise in the early morning ;-)

Are you all happy? by Christina Websell
That Barack is in again? We had the option of staying up all night to see what what happened. I didn't. I decided to see what happened in the morning. Is he a good president? Can't be worst than some. "I have left orders to be awakened at any time in case of national emergency, even if I'm...

Boyfie tries his luck by Christina Websell
I fed him his teatime meal at 3.45, but had to go to my brother's house to deliver his birthday present then. Didn't take much time but when I got back he insisted he hadn't been fed. Anyway, he didn't get away with it. More likely because he is a greedy boy, which my vets tell me he is after...

A dreadful thing has happened by Christina Websell
In a village not far from me. A recently adopted dog from a rescue centre has killed a 4 year old girl and apparently the mother had to stab the dog to get it off her. My heart goes out to them. Imagine having to stab your dog to try and save your child, it doesn't bear thinking about but of...

Yesterday by Christina Websell
Boyfie was missing for hours. It's nippy here, one hour is Ok, two hours is reasonable, 5 hours isn't. He strolled in saying "any chance of fud?" I nearly did the mother thing, when I went missing my mother nearly killed me when she found me safe.

I had the best birthday today by Christina Websell
Ever. Am still full of beef and pork, had a good three mile walk to walk it off and Pauline curled my hair. Literally with some heated things when we got home. She drove fast but as she said "you won't notice" True. Love her. But there is still that secret. It does matter, but I'm not doing...

new neighbours by Christina Websell
their house it attached to mine and their dog is driving me mad barking. I love dogs, but.. It's upset they are gone to work and is up at the window looking for them, and I realise that. But it wakes me up at silly-o-clock and the minute it sees someone in the street it barks for ten minutes,...

Boyfie makes me laugh by Christina Websell
It's 9.30 pm and he decides it's time for a patrol. He didn't realise it was raining. I opened the door, he rushed out and a megasecond later raced back in like the raindrops were scalding him. Then he went to the cupboard where I keep his dry food for his 10 pm "sprinkle" and sniffed at the...

Boyfie and his meal by Christina Websell
I got a chicken a few days ago and have eaten it to death, a breast a day, a leg a day and then into the pot for soup. So I boiled it up today for soup and there is some skin and meat left for Boyfie. So that was in his dish, lots of it. Well, he got up around 3pm from his duvet and when he got...

Keep your fingers crossed by Christina Websell
(or thumbs pressed for those in Germany) Kitty FC is still eating like a horse, cat food. It's gimme gimme that cat food ;-) Unbelievable. Let's hope it continues. It's such a relief for me to not have to roast chicken legs for her every day which I've done for the past year or so, and then...

KFC by Christina Websell
She is very well, atm. She does not need to eat only chicken now, she sez, but eats cat food again like its going out of fashion. I have no idea why. I'm just happy about it. It's much better for her and it saves me a lot on electricity cooking her chicken every day which I used to have to...

I just frightened poor Boyfie by Christina Websell
I've just been down the garden to shut up Francis Drake in his hut to keep him safe from foxes overnight. Boyfriend, as always, accompanied me as he thinks it's far too dangerous for me to go down at dusk without him. All done and was helped by his presence to get back to the house ;-) However...

OT. My favourite time and favourite month. by Christina Websell
I just love Friday evenings. I don't have to get up early to go to work for two days. I don't dislike my job at all but the commute is very tiring, it adds an hour and a half to my working day. Plus the job can burn you out over time. After 20 years of it, I am now seeing adult children from...

Boyfriend & the helium balloon by Christina Websell
He is fascinated by the "Happy Retirement" helium balloon I brought home yesterday. I have tied it to the door handle between my lounge and staircase and it floats with all sorts of sparkly fluorescent stuff that is lit if I have the light on and it gently moves. He is entranced and he cannot...

Boyfriend update by Christina Websell
Well the nurse's idea of "bright and alert" is not mine. Maybe it's a medical term for not dead yet I love him so much, much more that I ever thought I could love a cat, having been a dog person all my life. Please, oh, please let him recover. I stayed up until 5 a.m. Sleep was totally out of...
