Peeing on the Cat Mat by
Janet
Last fall I adopted my first cat. She actually appeared on our doorstep
during a torrential rainstorm. She was very, very hungry and ate a chicken
breast and three cans of tuna in about 24 hours, so I don't know how long
she had been out. After keeping her for a couple of days and trying to...

Feeding by
James
I used to feed my pussy twice a day and she seemed to be getting fat.
Now I just let her eat all she wants when ever she wants if she's in
the house. She knows where the food is and she must come in the house
to eat. She seems trimmer now. Don't know if it's because it's
summer or the feeding...

commercial alternative to Hills C/D ? by
Lynne
Quick Levi update: he's fine and has been eating the Hill's C/D for a
case worth (12 days). He was on the S/D for 7 weeks... too long, but
all is well now and that is a HUGE relief. BTW, C/D must taste better
than anything else on the planet. Both of these cats practically maul
me at feeding...

How I Made $30,000 In 30 Days with $11!
Is it really possible for you to make so much money so quickly? From
my 10
years of business training and practice, I thought this to be
impossible,
when I came across Johns' article a month and a half ago. I won't
waste your
time and mine trying to convince...

Getting New Cats, Seeking Advice Thereupon by
Robotech_Master
My old cat just recently left me, and I'm planning to get another. In
fact, I'm planning to get two more, so they will have each other for
company while I am at work.
The cats do not yet know each other; they have never met. One is a 1
1/2 year old male Bengal cat (neutered, or will be): the...

Boo has a breast lump by
cybercat
This is our tuxedo girl, age 13, hyperthyroid treated with Tapazole, and
arhythmia with propanolol. She was obese and age 5 when we got her, I got
her down to a good weight over a year's time a few years ago.
I picked her up this afternoon and felt it, looked closely (that went over
big, lol!)...

Frontline bad? by
Robotech_Master
Perhaps Phil can chime in on this.
I ran across this link (actually an advertised link in my Gmail; I'd
just bought some Frontline via eBay) and it makes some pretty ominous
claims regarding Frontline.

cybercat - you're desperate! by
Janet Boss
Why the cross post to RPDB? What is the point? Most of the folks there
know me pretty well and my feelings on purebreds, breeding, adoption,
etc. Do you think crossposting my post here will expose me somehow?
AR folks are very, very scary.

Diva Pix and Flix by
Robotech_Master
I went down to the vet's office after work today to visit with Diva,
the moggie I will be adopting on Friday along with my Bengal. I had a
nice 15-20 minute or so visit, during which time I snapped some pics
with my cellphone camera, and took some brief videos. The pictures
and the only video...

Cloth-eating cat by
MY
My cat likes to eat fabric pieces, particularly string-like ones, as
well as her own hair. I've lost tens of clothing items including some
blouses (worst-hit bits being the sleeves), socks, scarves, etc. Does
anyone know what causes this habit and how can I possibly change this
behaviour? Thanks!

Thinking about adopting by
Stan Brown
I know this is a dangerous admission on Usenet, :-) but I'd like
advice.
I've been ten years without a cat, and I'm thinking of adopting a
one-year-old neutered male from the shelter. I worry, though, that
it may not be a good idea because I'm gone every weekday for work for
9.5 hours...

Diabetic cat crash. by
Richard Evans
We have a diabetic cat who gets 1.5 units of Glargine at 10:00am and
again at 10:00pm. At the 10:00pm shot on June 7, we checked his sugar
and unexpectedly got a "High" reading from the meter, meaning his
sugar was too high to measure. We bumped that shot to 2 units.
We went back to 1.5 units the...

I should have read carefully by
James
When my in/outdoor pussy started scratching I got some Hartz One-Spot
for her. She kept scratching more and more so after 2 weeks I took a
flea comb to her. I was very surprised to comb out about a dozen
fleas.
After rereading I found out One-Spot don't kill adult fleas but just
stop young ones...

Hair loss following Revolution by
Lisa C
I have been using Revolution for about a year now with no problems and
have been very happy with it. I applied a dose about 3 weeks ago and
there is a bald spot where I applied it. Anyone else have this
happen? Did the hair ever grow back? He was also quite itchy in that
spot.
