What did he do with the tail? by
Yoj
The other evening, Nanki-Poo was playing vigorously, batting a toy around
and having a great time. When I went toward him to see what he was playing
with, he picked the toy up, looked at me defiantly, and walked away from me.
I could see then that it was a rather plump mouse. There was no way I...

Chester at night by
Susan M
Two nights ago, Chester slipped into bed and slept on my outside arm the
whole night. Otis was at the foot of the bed instead of on my head for some
reason - so Chester slept undisturbed by Otis. In the wee hours, Chester
even moved in between Fred and me and curled his body into my arms. ...

It was a three cat night. (Groan) by
Bill Stock
I'm a bit of a restless sleeper, I really like to thrash around when I
sleep. So I always worried that I would knock Smokey's brains out when she
slept under the covers on my feet. But she assured me that she wasn't using
them anyway. :) I adapted by sleeping with one leg outside the covers...

Natasha Visits TED by
Jeanne Hedge
Natasha visited her new doctor for her annual checkup the other day.
We moved since her last checkup, so this is her first time seeing this
TED. During the entire trip there she let me know in no uncertain
terms how unhappy she was to be back in her carrier, but once we got
there she didn't make a...

Peeper died a few years ago. by
i_luv_438
We've had her for years. She was such a loyal cat to the family and she
loved me. She used to come up on my bed and purr and lick my face. I
loved her dearly and she will be missed.

Favourite Scritch Spots? by
jmcquown
What are your cats favourite spots to get scritches? Persia loves having
her neck scritched (I think most cats do). But she also adores it when I
rub the bridge of her nose. She tilts her head back, closes her eyes, her
mouth opens slightly and the purr-meter cranks up several decibels :) ...

Pictures of Will and Heidi, and others by
Wayne Mitchell
I finally got around to setting up a free Webshots account so I
could post some pictures. Still haven't got a camera, so all
that's there yet is some scanned snapshots that others have
taken and given to me.
Here's just a few of Will and...

Please Purr For My Stinky by
Kreisleriana
My poor boy is just not himself. He is not bouncing back the way he
should. There is something not right about him, that I can't put my
finger on. He seemed to be accepting Dante more and more, but that
process seems to have stalled, and he just is not really acting at
home in his own house. ...

Ping: Howard OT- Compartment Syndrome by
KittyLady
I just found out that my good friends son had to have an emergency
fashiotomey (SP?) last night for compartment syndrome. She says it came
on very suddenly as he was playing basketball. Would you mind
explaining what this is? I am very curious.
Thanks
KittyLady
P.S. He is doing just fine.

Ticklish Teti by
Hans Schrøder
Oooh, he doesn't like it, but I do... :-)
Sometimes, while we're playing, I start tickling his tummy. Teti is a grown
up cat and he is fully aware of what he likes and dislikes. Tickling is not
one of his favorites! But where other cats could have used both claws and
teeth, Teti uses none of...

Stinky Followup by
Kreisleriana
I spoke to Stinky's vet this morning because his bloodwork was back.
He is slightly anemic, and has a "slightly" elevated white count. I
am going back there later to pick up the antibiotic-- then I have to
bring him back for another blood test in three weeks.
He is still very grumpy, poor angel. ...

Bali bombing by

There have been suicide bombings in Bali again. Fortunately only 24 people
killed. Restaurants were blown up in 2 tourist areas, 3 years ago 200
people were killed when nightclubs were bombed.
Bali is a popular holiday spot for Australians, at least 2 Aussies are
dead, in the first attack 3...
