My recipe for Wolf Vomit cat food is..... by RobZip
..... a resounding failure, at least with the indoor cats. The outdoor critters *will* eat it although with varying degrees of enthusiasm. Their attitudes range from 'YUMMY! gut meat to WTF is this? A family size can of chicken rice soup, 1 lb chicken livers, some old french fries and a few left...

I think Peewee may have cancer... by -L.
I have an appointment for them on Friday - the soonest I could get in. His chest seems to have a large, hard mass in it. I do an exam every month when I trim nails - didn't feel this last month. I am hoping I am wrong, but I don't think I am. Will keep you updated. :*( -L.

Need suggestions cat accepting a dog by [email protected]
As a child which was over 25 years ago I had a daschund and when he turned 10 years old a neighbors cat started using him as a babysitter. The mother cat would drop off her kittens and place them at my dogs feet while she went hunting. We adopted this cat and one of her kittens. The mother cat and...

quality wet foods by Lynne
I see quite a few people posting about feeding their cats Fancy Feast. Is this a quality food? I was always under the impression that Purina wasn't the best, however if I can pay $.40 a can as opposed to $.68 a bag (for Nutro wet), that'd be a plus!

Cats on top of microwave. Is this dangerous? by Al Kondo
My two cats love to lay on top of the microwave oven in our kitchen as we cook. My daughter suggested that it might be dangerous to the cats because of leaking microwaves. She thought that there might be a cancer risk. Is this a possibility? Thanks, Al

The Foley Follies by LC
The Foley Follies by R. Emmett Tyrrell Jr. Posted Oct 12, 2006 The political news from Washington has become an absolute epicurean delight. If I dine more sumptuously on the Foley Follies I shall be in danger of becoming crapulent. Of course, we need not dwell on the Hon. Foley. Days ago this...

sounds for company by [email protected]
I was wondering if anyone knew some streaming station, like on shoutcast, that might play just nature sounds or something like that? Just thought it would be nice to pipe out for Dino during my work hours to give him some stimulation.

Are "pop top" canned foods dangerous to cats? by Al Kondo
I read recently that "pop top" canned cat foods have an ingredient that can result in health problems for cats. Since I feed both of my cats canned cat foods which come in these containers, I would like to know. Thanks, Al Kondo

another update on Levi by Lynne
Levi ("the kitten who ate the latex nipple" and "the kitten who might have FHV") saw the vet today. The vet agrees that Levi has herpes. He didn't think it was a big deal and said L-Lysine will help "if I want to do that." I'm not entirely thrilled with this vet and am going to switch (lots of...
