question about cat illness, help please by
RedRiver35
Good evening:
I have the following problem with my cat:
He has not eaten or drank anything for all the time I have had him, which was
about 6 p.m. on Saturday.
He has been to one doctor, was given IV fluids, Cefazolin and a tube down his
throat to feed him. The next vet gave him the same type...

Question about kitty paws by
karenmamo
Our 7 month old tabby went out into the first snow of her life this morning. More than 2 hours later I found her
My husband did not think the cold would hurt her little pads. Yet, I had read their pads were sensitive.
Help resolve this debate between us?

Question On An Older Cat's Odd Behavior by
Neil Sullivan
Hello,
We have two 1 year-old cats and an older stray we took in. The older cat is
a very gentle fellow. The vet tells us he might be as old as 12.
About all he wants to do is sniff around outside for a bit and then come in
and sit on the nearest lap. He doesn't play much with the young cats,...

question regarding Ragdolls by
Harmonica Lover
I recently became aware of Ragdolls. From what I've read they seem
like a very appealing breed. We are considering adding one to our
household but I've got a couple of questions.
Our household currently has 4 cats and 4 dogs. One of our dogs who is
a black lab mix of about 2 years old likes to...

Question: Curing cat-human worm infestation by
Gerard Anthony Gold
Hello,
I have been feeding & petting this feral cat. It has these little (less than
an inch long) white, thin worm-looking things in its anus. I kind of guessed
they could be worms, but since I did not see any movement, I lost that rain
of thought. Recently, when I sit on the couch, the cat has...

Questions re rescued stray semi-feral cat by
Marek Williams
About three months ago I noticed a blond tabby hanging around a house
down the street on the corner (five houses from me). He was in
terrible shape, badly matted hair, runny eyes, arthritic and skinny.
After a few days I happened by when the homeowner was outside (an
older widow lady), and she said...

Recently I was transfered by work for a month and a half up north.
Luckily, I was able to move in with family, and so my little Marziale
and I packed up and headed up. However, since coming her her appetite
seems to have dwindled significantly. She has already been to the vet
here (I am staying in...

radio controlled toy? by
John Doe
I know they are potentially intimidating, I have tried once before.
What I would like to know is whether anyone has had continued success
using a radio controlled vehicle to amuse their cat? (perhaps with a
string or whatever tied to the vehicle).
Thank you very much in advance for any experiences.

RagaMuffin? by
Gail Futoran
About four years ago a neighbor brought me a little
calico stray she found in her yard. The kitten was
clean and friendly and appeared healthy. I was reluctant
to take her to the pound so I set up quarters for her
in the shed. I put up signs but with no result, and after
a vet checkup, including...

carpet, a slanted post covered in sisal, and a curved part on top they can
lie in. I don't want to get them another post because a.) these posts are

Think about it. Cats are obligate carnivores. They have zero

Yes, I believe this is absolutely correct.
