Your e-mail addy and your snail mail at Felinitaitons is bouncing. If you want to be involved in the card exchange this year, could you a) log into Felinitations so as to let Yahoo know that e-mail addy is still valid or b) re-subscribe to Felinitations using your new e-mail addy. You'll also...

black fawn by MLB[_4_]
I was sent some pictures of a black fawn -- a rarity. I don't know how to send it on here but if you are interested type in "black fawn" or go through "Snopes" for more information. MLB

Face patting by Christina Websell
Boyfie is a keen chap for his "sprinkle of dry food" at 10 p.m. So he gets himself on the arm of my chair by 9 p.m. At first he just sits there. Then he puts his paw up to pat my face. I used to let him do that until he put a claw out (just one, how do they do that?) and scratched my face and...

Stray cat update by Kalynnda Rivermoon
We're calling her Ghost. She is VERY frightened. I think she's more feral than we thought. She found her way into a blocked closet and into a hole in the ceiling. Sigh. She did come down during the night. I saw litter box use, and several patches of urp. I don't know if she's eating...

Dog boops cat, film at 11 by [email protected]
Not quite the way we mean "boop", where you poke a cat's exposed belly and say "Boop!" while you're doing it. But: http://www.lolroflmao.com/2011/07/12/hey-cat-imma-boop-your-head/ -- Joyce

A scare for Pickles & Waffles by Joy
My gardener scared my cats yesterday, and the worst possible time. I had just put down Waffles' canned food and was setting down a dish with a little tuna juice for Pickles when he turned on the blower right outside the dining room window. They both panicked and ran into the living room. A...

Euthanizing New-born Kittens by Blash
Hello Gee Gee, the shooter got out. She is called the “shooter” because she hides and shoots out the door when you open it to go outside. She got bred by some unknown alley cat. Now she had 6 kittens, of which one did not make it through the birthing. The five remaining must be euthanized, so...

Independent animal shelter review by Lots42
How do I know if an animal shelter is decent/good/reliable/whatever. The one in question is -clean-, mind you, but that doesn't mean it's okay.

Purrs requested - stray cat by Kalynnda Rivermoon
Please ask your kitties to purr for a stray tortie cat. The tl;dr version - she was hit by a car, appears to be doing well, and is likely to be our #9. Longer version... I'm supposed to be in a cabin in a state park right now. Really. We got to the cabin yesterday (Sunday), set up, then went on...

It has been a year by Winnie
Today is Thanksgiving here and it brought back memories of my RB cat Rusty. He went to the Bridge last year a day after Thanksgiving. I remember giving him some turkey meat. That was the only time he got to eat people food. I still have Rusty's ashes. The plan was to either bury or sprinkle the...

More anniversaries by BfloPolska
Wednesday I'll have been married to my Louie for nine years. I didn't think we would get this far, between his heart scare and the Big Ugly Religion Fight of 2010 and his own struggles with depression. But we did, and screw those who thought we wouldn't--none on this board of course! On our...

(sort of OT) Halloween, anyone? by jmcquown[_2_]
I (thankfully) don't live where anyone rings my doorbell looking for candy. But I do have a cat-flag hanging outside :) And I've seen some mailboxes decorated with wooden pumpkin faces so I know I'm not the only one :) I plan to have a pumpkin and some decorative gourds, maybe some corn stalks....

Resolve "Easy clean" by ---MIKE---
I just bought a Resolve "easy clean" It's a device with a long handle brush and foam dispenser that makes it easy to scrub stains (from cat vomit) in a carpet. It's only $15 at Walmart and seems to do the job. ---MIKE--- In the White Mountains of New Hampshire (44 15' N - Elevation 1580')

Q for US'ans - chip regisration by [email protected]
At least, I don't think microchip registrations are international... Has anyone here used the AVID registration company? A friend of mine registered her dog's chip there many years ago and needs to update her contact info, but can't remember the number. Has anyone dealt with that? -- Joyce

Update on Catnipped by CatNipped[_4_]
Lori's surgery went very well on Wednesday. She's been sleeping nearly all day Thursday and Friday. The Physical Therapists had her out of bed around 2pm Friday and she managed to walk about 60 feet. That pretty much wiped her out for the rest of the day... Ben -- Hugs,
