Where Do They Go? What Do They Do? by
EADGBE
I have a couple of indoor-outdoor cats. One is a white cat and the
other is a Siamese cat. They are both trained to come to me when I
whistle for them.
They are both male cats, and they are both NEUTERED.
The white cat spends about half his time indoors, but the Siamese is
almost completely an...

Litter stops spraying by
[email protected]
Well, mostly, anyway.
I have been waiting for a few months before posting this report.
We have five cats, all rescues, living in our two-story farmhouse. They
have a total of five litter boxes, spread strategically throughout the
house, upstairs and down. These litter boxes are contained in...

Oh Great this is all I need now by
Matthew
Ka' Shay started going in heat today. She is the most talkative furball
that we have ever had when it became this time. The poor thing does not
know what to do with herself. Off course it is a load of entertainment for
the boys; who are all fixed. They are trying to figure out what her...

small mice toys by
Wayne
What the heck is in those small mice toys that my cat likes so much?
He has another toy with catnip in it which is about twice the size but he
really loves the small mouse. He plays with it and carries it around looking
real proud of himself like he has caught something wonderful. Is it just...

HELP!! I had my 4 month old kittens spayed by
AmandaWV4
I had my 4 month old kitten spayed on Thursday. I haven't had a new kitty in
a while. We lost our cat of 10 years in Sept. Anyway I always thought that
6 months was the age to "fix" kittens. But they say you can do it earlier as
per 3 different vets. So I figured they knew what they were...

Constipation in cats by
[email protected]
All,
My little Katie has been diagnosed with both IBD and hyperthyroidism.
The is medicated for both, but her stool volume has been dropping.
The stools aren't really hard and seem a good color. She just seems
to have problems pushing them out. I give her Benefibre ( 1/4/ tsp
twice a day) and...

Sensitive stomach dry foods by
BZ
I have a three-year-old male cat who has always had a puking problem.
We started him on Purina One's sensitive stomach dry food, and it seemed
to help for a while, but lately he's back to puking every day or so.
(His vomit, by the way, shows a lot of unchewed dry food, and I wonder
if the fact...

Nipsy's smelly poop back, this time with blood by
dgk
It looked like Nipsy had taken a big poop sometime earlier. It's sort
of hard to tell since both cats use the same box. But Espy's tend to
be small little droppings, sort of like a deer. Nipsy's are long logs.
Plus he is pretty bad about covering them. Generally if I can see it
on the surface, it's...

spaying fears.. by
Elizabeth
My 6 month old kitten has an appointment this Friday to get spayed. I have
never had a cat before and quite frankly I'm scared as hell that she's going
to die or get an infection or that her stitches will get torn.
My first question is: they said it would be $70 for the surgery if she wasn't
in...

Charlie is not doing well... by
A&A's Mama
He started weezing and his nose is all stuffed up. I brought him to the
vet again this AM. He was given more IV fluids, another antibiotic for
a week and some drops for his nose and eyes. The vet said it doesn't
look good. He is a frail, weak kitty. I am going to try to get him to
eat some mushy...
