Cat has habit of licking it's tummy removing fur! WHY??!! by
The Cat Whisperer[_2_]
I just had lunch with a friend who told me her cat has been licking his
tummy in one spot - for all it's life, leaving a bald spot!
Why would a cat do this?
Indoor / outdoor, 7 years old, other than the licking - acts perfectly
normal, only cat in the home, no other pets.
I don't think stress...

Older female cat with a Cerebral Event??? by
[email protected]
I have a female tabby, left at my front door 2 years ago, that is
probably 13-16 yrs old. While sitting on my bed yesterday she
suddenly
flopped over and laid very still for some minutes. She appeared to be
breathing a little shallow so I eventually lifted her to a sitting
position and she...

food all the time? by
David Mooney
I have two food dispensers for my cats, each with enough food to last for
4-5 days. I was recently told that leaving cats to eat all they want was not
helpful. I was advised to go back to feeding them small portions daily. My
cats have indeed put on weight since I switched to the feeders but it...

How to find all Natural Pet Products by
Hippie Chick
To some people, a pet is just as precious as a child. Caring for your
pet is very important, and so is giving them the right food. Good food
and the right pet products can help your pet stay healthy and fit. I
have seen some great products out there for your pet. The new line of

Date Code Question Recall by
MoMo via CatKB.com
Hi everyone. So, I am panic stricken as I am sure most of you all are of
this pet recall. I feed my guys Iams wet pouches. When I checked the code
on the back of the pouches, they match the plant code number but thankfully
not the date code. My question is, and not sure if anyone here will...

Alternatives to Pill Pockets by
[email protected]
I thought the Pill Pockets would be great, but my cat won't eat them. Can
anyone suggest some other food that would be okay to hide a pill in? Are
there any cat treats, for instance, that are soft enough to push a pill
into? (Hiding the pill in his regular wet food doesn't do the trick -- he...

suggestions from the pros by

I take in abused dogs and thought they were under control. I bought
a product called Urinegone and with the black light it showed my new
carpet installed in November has numerous spots that one bottle will
not work. I was horrified and still owe thousands of dollars for the
carpet. The problem is,...

Cat returned to Humane Society after one day because...... by

it jumped up on a table and that was a no no according to the new
owners.
Good grief, what do people expect a cat to be doing? Cats love to
explore and jump up to
elevated postitions, it is all a part of being a cat.
I hate to think what these people would do if they had a baby, return
it to the...

Kitten behavior by
Teralyn
I am new to this and need some help. I have a 7 month old male kitten.
He is beautiful and affectionate. When he gets in my lap and does that
"kneading" thing that cats do, his claws are partially out and it
HURTS. Is this normal? Is there a way I can make him stop?
TIA for any help

Mother eats kitten, is this normal. by
T[_2_]
My cat had five kittens last week. From the beginning one of the
kittens seemed to keep crawling out of the nest; sometimes he would make
it back in but in the last few days it seemed to happen more and more
and I would sometimes pick him up and place him back inside.
At first I thought that...
