Surprising Shadow by
Cheryl
This cat never ceases to amaze me. Since he's been on a mainly canned
food diet, plus his pred. every other day (doing well on it, BTW) he
still keeps trying to find Bonnie's food. She still won't eat canned so I
have to hide her food from him, but leave it so *she* can find it since
she free-feeds...

For Cat fence in people by
Karen Chuplis
I'm considering getting the "combination" for my deck. I can't enclose it
(apartment rules) but I *can* attach things to the pickets and enclose the
bottom part (railing) as it can't really be seen. My cats are not big
jumpers, any of them really. This *looks* like a good solution. I don't
think...

skinny cat by
Taxievan
I have a 2 year old barn/house cat that we worm as well as her 2 friends. The
other 2 are pleasingly rounded and Tigger is very skinny, she eats but never
puts on any weight. What else?

Big Boy--Remember me & flying with cat?? by
Chris
Well here I am again. Big Boy is still with me--now runs around in my
bedroom quite nicely--he's discovered my bed which is his very favorite
place to sprawl out... I'm still desperately looking for a home for him. I
did find a local no-kill shelter that would take him but before I make...

old-she will have changed by then and slow down and become more
affectionate..

Camera flash by
frigamia
Hi there...
I was just getting ready to take pictures of the kittens again for you
guys... and I wondered if now that their little eyes are open or semi open,
if the flash of my camera can damage them? Their eyes I mean?
Thanks,
Mia

Hairballs & Cod Liver Oil by
Ruby Tuesday
Hello out there,
I recall once being told that a teaspoon (or tablespoon) of Cod Liver Oil
poured over wet cat food will prevent the cat from spewing hairballs.
Anybody got any confirmation on this?
TIA,
- Ruby Tuesday

My cat wants one! by
Rona Yuthasastrakosol
Okay, maybe I'm the one who wants it, but I think she'd love it! I might
need to get more cats, though, to help justify the expense :-).

Chaintechee
Hello to all, and thank you for your time.
Can anyone offer suggestions regarding the treatment of pleural effusion in a 10-year old male longhair? He presented two months ago with difficulty breathing as a result of the accumulation of fluid in his pleural sac. As the cause ultimately was not...

pee cleaner? by

what's the best thing to clean where the cat WON'T STOP peeing on the wool
carpet to get the smell out so maybe she'll stop? (also planning a
litterbox/litter/configuration overhaul) ...it may be part of the problem
that she won't stop because now she thinks it's where she's supposed to go
because...

Why does my cat throw-up so much? by
Steve
I have a 4 year old male cat. I have had him for his entire life. Found
him few days after he was born and feed him with a dropper for a while.
Now he is a big, fat 21 pound cat.
For some reason, unknown to me, he throws up about once a week. Seems to
happen after he eats a lot. I think he is...

SEE PIC of My Great EYE EYED KITTY :) by
CuteKittys
Look at a pic of my cute One eye Kitty Girl, Born 6/17/03 with only
one eye. She's the best, friendly, does everything and more than cats
with 2 eyes (including roaming around rafters in barn, 25 feet up, at
night in the dark, and never has any problems).
She has always looked after other cats and...

Luciano by
SongSylvan
Back in 1990, when I was stationed in Germany, Sgt. Callahan and his wife gave
me their two cats, Luigi and Luciano. Brothers from the same litter, they'd
gotten them when they were stationed in Italy (hence the Italian names). The
Callahans gave them to me because one of their sons had developed...

back on prednisone for previously diabetic cat? by
Smcavana
Last year our 13 year old cat Buddy was put on prednisone for cholangioheptitis
and quickly became diabetic. We stopped the prednisone and he gradually
normalized, not requiring any insulin at all. After almost a year of steady
weight, and seemingly good health, his liver seems to be getting worse....

Kitty has kidney stones by
adrie
My Main Coon kitty has just been diagnosed with kidney stones as well. I
have been told over and over that surgery and litropsy are the only
options, if you can find a vet that will perform the surgery/litropsy.
I have been researching some holistic methods however If you interested in
what I've...
