She got weigh. by James
This morning my Pussy hit the scale at 8.8 pounds. I thought she was heavier but I guess everything feels heavier when one gets old. When she leans against my leg at night it's pretty uncomfortable and may give me leg cramps. Went to the mall and walked a thousand steps. Maybe it'll help.

Cat feeding dilemma by jmc
Need some suggestions. My cat, Meep, is nearly 13 and has cystitis. She also hates wet food and craves - dare I say obsesses? - over dry food. She's very fussy. For her first 7 years, she got dry food (Iams). Then she got cystitis, so for a few years she got dry for one feed and wet for the...

Cutest Cat Name? by LauraM[_2_]
I was just wondering what you all thought was the cutest cat name you've ever heard. My girlfriend had a cat for 20 years named Moses. I always thought that was the cutest name I'd ever heard (besides my Hobbes of course). How about you??

Please consider being a "sponsor mom or dad" by MaryL
Untold thousands of perfectly healthy cats and dogs are euthanized every year because there are not enough people to adopt them (and the primary blame, in my opinion, is failure of people to spay or neuter their pets). One great help is when people agree to foster and socialize pets even when...

From the mouth of babes by bartlet
The other day, I had a 5 year old tell me Obartletma (that's me) - I want an old cat to take care of. He wanted an old cat with problems, so he could take care of them. Wow! How sweet. He'll get his chance with all you selfish numbskulls letting your cats outside and breeding them
