Claw clipping and bad behavior... by
[email protected]
So my guy has never liked getting his claws clipped. But after a nice
meal and a nap on my lap I was always able to get a few claws done a
night. (I have never been able to get to his back claws). The last few
times I have tried to clip his claws he has grabbed my hand with his
teeth. He hasn't...

Rechelle
My oldest cat, Shadow, is almost seven years old and is the alpha cat in the
household. The other cats have never tried to take that status from him.
The problem I am having is that he continually kinda mounts and bites my
oldest female cat, Ebby (she's almost seven also, they grew up together),...

lethargy: a normal reaction to vaccination? by
Catskill Cat Lover
Took my 7-9 month old cat to the vet for a general exam and the vet gave her
a FVRCP booster and an oral dose of Stronrid-T (Pyrantel Pamoate). A week
after the visit, this very lively kitty became lethargic, sleeping most of
the day (when before the visit to the vet she could keep us up all night)...

Subject feline is a grey neutered male long-haired domestic. He's

CRF Vent by

Just a couple of questions for you kind souls, if you do not mind :-)
Do you pay your vet for your fluids or just puchase them off the
internet?
What sort of supplements are in the fluids?
If by chance, you must have a vet assistant in the office administer
fluids what do they charge?
History: 5...

Why I Will Let My Cats Hunt--for now by
cybercat
Yesterday both cats were opening the bottom kitchen cabinets and actually
diving in. The sure sign you have a mouse, at least in my experience. We
usually shut them out of the kitchen at night because our Boo, since she has
slimmed down, likes to get up on the kitchen table and bat things--like...

I have had my cat declawed when he was 6 months old, along with having
him 'fixed'. My mother with her cat as well. I have never had any
behavioral problems with my cat due to these procedures. I don't think
declawing is any more inhumane than the amputating of dog tails and
clipping of ears on...
