On ginger by
Dennis Carr
Yes, as in the herb.
I'm thinking of growing ginger for my home, but am unsure as to toxicity
to my girls. In short, is it safe?

one big pleasure center by
John Doe
After catching a feral female (totally paranoid), months later I
took in a stray male that was trying to live off of insects. Had him
neutered, and hoping he could help her. Well, he's done the job. She
just loves him. He loves everything. Incredibly affectionate. You
know how they motion with...

One cat is scared, the other ignores us. by
CindyBreninger
Hi,
We have two cats and while one ignores us unless he wants attention,
the other freezes up. She is fine when it is just me and will play
and sit in my lap, but the second my kids come home, she hides. When
we find her, she goes limp and hides her head. The kids have never
hurt her, but she just...

One cat picking on another by
KellyH
I need some advice here. I have a 6 cat household, 3 boys and 3 girls. My
alpha male cat Bartleby has started picking on NewCat, an 8 year-old female.
Not to confuse things, but NewCat isn't the newest cat in the household,
it's just her name. We added cat #6 about 3 months ago, I'm not really...

One cat picking on another UPDATE by
KellyH
Bartleby and NewCat are sleeping peacefully together on the bed upstairs.
NewCat was downstairs most of yesterday, and Bartleby walked by her several
times without giving chase. I may still get Feliway diffusers, though.
I think they do these things to drive their humans crazy!

One cat put down and the one left behind is suffering by
June[_2_]
I always thought cats had short memories about other cats; sort of nature's
way of handling life for them. I had to have one of my cats put down to
stop the suffering. I still have another cat inside who is missing the
first cat. It's only been a week but it he knows things aren't right. ...

One cat stalking, attacking other cat F/F by
[email protected]
My cat, Gracie, is a pretty hefty and muscular female, about three
years old. My new roommate's cat is considerably smaller and about the
same age. My cat, of course, is the aggressive one. The thing is, she
has been around other cats, introduced into their environments and had
one introduced into...

one could eat no fat - the other could eat no lean by

the situation is this: I have one overweight cat and one skinny kitten that
needs calories. the overweight cat has a "low cal" prescription food and the
kitten has another. - they have separate bowls, and get their food at the
same time in the hopes that if they eat at the same time they'll eat...

One eye darker than the other? by
jmc
There's nothing actually *wrong* with Meep's eyes, at her last physical
they tested her vision and looked at her eyes, but I've noticed a
curious thing:
One eye appears darker than the other in certain light (always the same
eye) - is it possible for the tapus luteum (sp? the reflective bit...

One fat cat , one slender cat. by
Terri
Hi, I'm new to the group. I have 2 cats, both males, one is 8 one is
10. My 8 year old is one tubby kitty while my 10 year old is in just
about perfect shape. They are both neutered. They both eat about the
same amount of food. They are both equally lazy... LOL. I need to get
my 8 year old's weight...

One Final Question About a Blockage by
MoMo via CatKB.com
Hello everyone. I had a kitty that blocked the Friday before last. I have
been posting about it frequently on here with great help from everyone. He
was doing pretty good last week, although not peeing in amounts that I was
thrilled about, but, the vet said that as long as he was peeing,...

Hello, first post here. We had our male kitten, Ollie, neutered yesterday.
His sister, Little Girl, will be spayed in a few weeks. Ollie came home in
not too bad shape considering, and once he calmed down he wanted to play
with his sister. But she acts like he's a stranger, and she hisses at...

One less mouse by
KenK
Emily, the mighty huntress, caught(?) her first mouse (that I know of) at
age 15 yesterday at 3AM. I hope she caught it and didn't find a dead
mouse. Got out of my bed to visit her litter pan and came back with a mouse
in her mouth. Pandemonium for about an hour. She finally ate it - all but...

One mean kitty... help! by

Hey guys... I've got a situation on my hands that may well cost me a
roomate.
About 6 weeks ago I moved into a house with a friend. I've 2 cats, she
has one. Mine are Chiana and Dargo, hers is Snowball. Chiana is just
over 2yrs old and Snowball is about 7yrs old. The first three weeks the

One Measure of Our Humanity by

is how we treat those weaker than we are.
those who have to take whatever we hand out, whether it is indifference,

Cats are in there. So are dogs, children, and the sick and old, the

All the magical tools we have as humans? Our...
