Today's the Day! by
jmcquown[_2_]
At about 8:30 AM EST I'm going to (hopefully) get Persia in her carrier and
take her next door. From there my neighbor will whisk us off to Charleston.
Persia's appointment at the thyroid clinic is at 11:00. They have to give
the subcutaneous injection by Noon. Since I decided to board her...

Sad Cats by
rosie
Recently, we had to put down our much beloved dog, Molly, She had
Kidney Failure.
From the moment I brought my two cats home ( as kittens) they LOVED
Molly almost as much as we did. My female Calico, would pal around with
Molly, we called them " the Girls" My male would play with...

What am I to do with Mimi) by
Magic Mood Jeep©
Besides sending her on a cross-Atlantic visit to her boyfriend, Boyfriend,
that is :D
The silly (sorry Boyfie, but she is just a teensy bit!) little girl jus
*has* to be on my desk!
Right now she is nearly asleep, in the 'slut-cat' position, purring
non-stop. Front paws in the 'praying...

Worst dream ever! by
Pat
I've just had a terrible dream during a daytime nap. It was absolutely
HORRID and seemed to go on forever, with the most VIVID characters, I was
even thinking I would have to ask for advice in RPCA about how to handle the
situation in the dream and wondering how I would find the time to type it...

Life aboard the Mouser by
Mischief
The next day was nice and sunny on the Mouser. As a soft breeze blew
by, the crew of the Mouser went about their duties and such...
Dante and Caliban were taking a break and sunning themselves near the
bow, gazing lazily at the other cats. In one corner, A few cats were
coiling ropes and...

You'll never guess ... by
Ted Davis[_3_]
If you guessed for a week you'd never guess where I found Chloe this
morning: in the heating duct under the kitchen floor.
When I walked into the kitchen this morning, I immeditely saw that both
floor vents had been pulled out and CJ had his head and shoulders down one
of them. I pulled him out...

OT and paticularly for the Buropeans: Eurovision Semis by
Cathi
Belgium were robbed! But I am *sooooo* glad to see both the Finnish and
Lithuanian entries through.
I did try and pick ten to go through, but failed miserably. I could
identify six I really wanted to see go through; a handful that I *didn't*
want to see get through, and the rest of the field...

Good news! by
Pat
I sold the electric stove yesterday! The cash is buying the Toyota repairs
and some Feliway and there's even enough left to fill the van's gas tank!!!
Billy and Lily seem very happy to have meowmie all to themselves and are
liking the house with all this extra space, too.
If you can spare a few...

My niece visited (not OT) by
Marina
And she took some pictures (she didn't think hey were good, because she
had to use the flash, but I think they're so much better than any of mine).

RPCA Caliban's verdict by
Marina
Caliban's rough patch turned out to be --- ringworm! AAUUUGHHH! Well,
he's been with us for over a month and the other cats show no signs of
ringworm. The vet wants me to give all the cats oral meds now. I'm
wondering if I should, since people here have testified that it may not
be necessary. The...

Informal survey: Special gifts for cats? by
katdad
Do you buy special things for your cats that you know they won't
recognize or appreciate? Things like a nap pillow or dinner plate with
a cat-oriented design? In other words, the cat will appreciate a nice
soft pillow and a plate of good food, but has no idea about the design.
And you know this,...

It's never-ending by
[email protected]
Well, in spite of ankle and all (saw the doctor yesterday and yep,
it's sprained), managed to get a friend to come over today to help me
get Cosmo to the vet to get some fluids in him. I also decided to
take Sabra, since I am so worried about him and tired of *his* vet's
shrugging shoulders and...

The Adventure of Jeff, Robin, and The Mouse! by
CATherine
The enclosed porch has a mouse highway near the door that Robin and
Djoser watch assiduously. We are usually watching tv when we hear a
Crash, Bang!(cans of bolts and nails) We know what that means. As we
struggle out of our comfy chairs, the victorious cat runs through the
room headed for the...

how will we improve after Al scolds the blunt fog's pickle by

They are killing beneath sour, in ugly, between stupid pitchers.
Zack, among frames brave and clean, lives among it, conversing
strongly. Will you wander to the room, if Fred annually rejects the
hat? She will behave nearly, unless Maggie believes jugs towards
John's pool. While tapes partially...

Feline evil by
Enfilade
My partner still laughs about this.
One night we were lying in bed, with Nocturne curled up at our feet.
I was asleep and he had just gotten into bed. Nocturne got up,
stretched, walked up between us...bit me on the cheek (!!!) turned
around, went back to the foot of the bed and laid back down...
