Glaucoma in younger dog by
[email protected]
Does anyone have a dog who got glaucoma when he/she was really young?
My mother-in-law has a dog who was recently diagnosed with it and he's
only 2 at the most. He has lost sight in one eye and most of it in the
other eye. Also, has anyone had a younger dog who went completely
blind and adapted...

Please Help - 8 yr old Cat w/ Sore on Head by
Billy
This weekend we noticed our white/black *indoor* cat had a patch of
his hair missing from his head just over the right eyelid. It appeared
as a nail scratch from our other more agressive cat as they play fight
sometimes. I applied some peroxide on a q-tip to the area. The next
day, the area turned...

What does this mean, do you think? (nonverbal communication) by
jmc
I understand that cats communicate mostly nonverbally, and understand
much of Meep's body language, after years of living with her. I just
noticed a new one, and not sure what it means.
It's a stare, quick head shake, then look away.

Small hard 'weeping' lump on cat's back under fur? by
The High Council
Hi guys,
I was grooming my cat (about 12 years old - indoor cat - white fur -
apparent good health) when I noticed what I can only decribe as a
round hard lump on the surface of her skin. It seems to be weeping a
little. I have cleaned it and put Tea Tree Oil on it a few times. It
reminds me of a...

Tragic Accident by
Sheelagh >o
A couple of hours ago, Paul went outside to pick up our daughter from
her Ganny's house after dinner. He got into the car, readied himself
to leave, & drove away. It wasn't until after Paul got off the
driveway that we could see that there was a cat underneath, that he
had run over. We have seen...

I just got a call from my son's best friend who lives about 1/2 a mile from
here. She wanted to know if Levi was in the house (of course he is).
There is a cat who looks just like him who, according to her mother, has
been there for 2 days. The daughter just saw him and freaked, thinking it...

Health Insurance - Do you need, and how much do you need? by
John Stapleton
Having health insurance is great. Not having it is terrible. Between
the two extremes are a lot of gray areas, paperwork and a host of
confusing medical and legal terms. If you're lucky, you'll have some
choices when it comes to health insurance. "Your choice may be whether
to take your own...

Velvet is a 5 year old cat (she was my first cat) and she won't look at me

Should I microchip my pussy? by
James
She's lived here more than a year now and I don't see her getting lost
unless I took her on a trip or something.
It's kinda like aliens putting a chip in to track you. Are there any
other benefits?
