Nocturnal Parade by Kreisleriana[_3_]
I've written before about the Laundry Parade around here-- I do the laundry, and go down to the basement with the baskets, and the cats follow me back and forth up and down two flights of stairs. Last night, we had a little variation. I had to get up to go to the bathroom, and the cats were...

Star - update - saw him by Susan M[_3_]
Hi the I went to the SPCA to visit with Star this afternoon. I didn't go on the weekend because I didn't want to chance having him out of his cage visiting while potentially serious adopters were around. When I got there, they said that a hold had been put on him last night because it was...

What is THAT about? by LesleyM via CatKB.com
Idling between meetings I happened to be glancing through some small ads in the paper and there's one that made me thinkg WHAT? "Wanted: Small kitten not more than 3 weeks old that I can rear and really bond with. Prepared to pay up to £70" I've fired off a short sharp email to the paper,...

Poll: Cat Genders by tanadashoes
Reading Phoenix's post I saw that she has more female owners than male ones. Until recently we were owned by more males than females, which has recently evened out. Ok, what genders of your owners, are there any reasons to be owned by one gender over another? I'll start out, whether that is ok...

I am an idiot - Star by Susan M[_3_]
I have been to visit Star twice now. This second time, he settled on my lap and purred again. Curled up in the tiniest little cat disc (how can a cat be so small?) and purred. He kneaded and rubbed and mrrp'd. He looked at me with his beautiful golden orbs. He likes me and he trusts...

Mr. Oreo wants attention NOW by Mark Edwards
One of the cats who come to our door is a hefty coal black and cream white cat who I call Mr. Oreo. He has to have a slave around here because he is VERY well-fed. At any rate, he has recently let me pet him, and nervously let's me pick him up for a few minutes. He has a deep, rumbly...

Re-Naming a Cat by ---MIKE---
When I got Tiger at age four months, his name was "Tweedles". That wouldn't fit a 24 pound Maine Coon! He responds to his name when he feels like it. ---MIKE--- In the White Mountains of New Hampshire (44° 15' N - Elevation 1580')
