Post Boarding Agitation by
Margaret Fine
Whew! Got back this weekend from a 7 day visit with family and I had
one upset kitty returned to me at the cat kennel. I don't know who did
what to whom but Oliver was very agitated for over 24 hours after we got
him home. He has boarded plenty of times and always returned home
slightly more...

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid People! (long) by
jmcquown
It's a RANT. Pardon me if I've told this before, but I got something in the
mail yesterday which I didn't look at until today and it's set me off again.
(sigh)
For the most part vets and their tech's are really nice people (like our
recently 'outed' tech, Mischief here!). But I swear, the animal...

Question about Frontline by
Marina
We have lots of ticks out on the island, and I've tried to find a way to
combat them because here in Finland, they carry a disease called Borrealia.
In the past, I've checked the cats every day, and pulled out any ticks I
found (it's even yuckier than it sounds - they are arachnids and I'm...

My confession by
Mischief
hey everyone,
I don't think I've really told everyone what I do besides being a
student. I'm in school to be a Licensed Veterinary Technician. So,
in a sense, I'm currently working with and going to school to help
TED. :)
hehehehehehe
I currently work at the Agoura Animal Clinic in Agoura...

Anybody heard anything from Jen? She hasn't posted here in a long time and
I've been wondering about how she is.
Purrs that she and Kid and Muggles are okay.

Hunting by
[email protected]
I am sitting here at my computer working on my resume when all of a
sudden I hear this great big commotion outside.
The local birds are screaming their little heads off.
I run outside and I see my "middle child" ( the big Maine Coon like
cat) up a cedar tree hunting.
He is out on a limb with two...

party tart by
Tish S
We are in the midst of 3 very social weekends (unusual for us - we're
usually quite reclusive) - last weekend we had 6 members of Dave's
family visiting for 4 days, this weekend was a big BBQ lunch and next
weekend old friends are visiting for 5 days. All this in aid of Dave
having a Significant...

Barn kittens update from Christine by
Annie Wxill
I sent Christine the messages I received for update 9. Here is her response:
Hi Mom,
Thanks for the nice comments from your crazy cat group! You can let them
know that the local restaurant owner called me back and left me a message
that she named the little med. hair female Nani (means beautiful...

Purrs for Bonnie please? by
Cheryl
She got her shots yesterday, and yesterday was fine. Today, though,
she is very lethargic and not eating. She's eaten a few pieces of dry
food (maybe a couple of mouthfuls all day) but she's usually very
piggy. I know this happens, and it happened to Shadow the last time
he got shots which is...

OT - but purrs and prayers needed by
lrulan
My brother, who is still in the Philippines, was found by his maid in his
bedroom this morning, unable to move or talk. He was transferred to a
hospital where he is now able to talk a little bit but still can't get up
out of the bed. He is refusing all help, they do have an IV going but he is
not...

Shrek 2 by

OK: now I've seen it too. I thought it was pretty darn funny (lots of
adult humour) and that Puss 'N Boots was absolutely hillarious. *loved* the
cat.

Oh dear by
dirtylitterboxofferingstospammers
This morning I took Francis to TED's place for his annual check-up and booster
jabs.
Francis was *not* a happy feline.
As soon as he saw TED (a pleasant lady), he gave her The Feline Look Of Death
and warned her, in no uncertain terms that if she as much as touched him with
her little finger, he...

Hamlet's Cat by
Seanette Blaylock
Sighted in rec.crafts.textiles.needlework:
To go outside, and there perchance to stay
Or to remain within: that is the question:
Whether 'tis better for a cat to suffer
The cuffs and buffets of inclement weather
That Nature rains on those who roam abroad,
Or take a nap upon a scrap of carpet,
And...

Crazy mockingbirds by
Zorin the Lynx
So, as of late there has been a pair of mockingbirds hanging out near my
place. However, I was noticing that a lot of times, they start acting
insane. They jump along the fence, chirping loudly, even going as far as
to fly up and land on one of the terrace ceiling fan's blades right near
the...

Deo catches Bonnie by
Bev
To-day Deo struck. Usually Clyde is the recipient of his charms! But
Bonnie was out on her own when I heard the rumpus. Deo took off when I
went outside but I knew exactly what had happened. I called Bonnie for
ages and finally she limped into view. I have never seen a more
frightened...

Best Friends' Kitties (LONG) by
JBHajos
I got carried away and wrote up reams of pages on our trip to Best
Friends. I have to pare it down to be of interest to you - about the
cats, of course! I'm a little hesitant to "tell all" since it may
start out as a bit of a downer but, in truth, it's quite heartwarming.
Chris and I had signed...
