neighbours houses.
He does hunt for mice etc but more often now he is bringing home shoes

How to increase white blood cells count, with vitamin injections? by
Patricia
My 3 yo FIV+ cat has been hospitalized for two weeks now.
His white blood cell count is VERY LOW.
My vet would like to release him if the count goes up, but there are
no signs in that direction.
We spoke about Neupogen, which is successful with humans, but may have
a negative effects in cats in...

Kitten Makes A Mess When He Poops by
Nhmiller
I have a two and a half pound male kitten who was rescued off the street. When
he poops, instead of crouching so his butt is elevated like a normal cat does,
he pushes his bottom into the litter and ends up with quite a mess stuck to his
behind. After I clean him up he drags his butt on the floor....

FOAK: Cats won't stop scratching, at wit's end by
Preston Crawford
I've posted about this before. So I apologize for the redux. But the
problem hasn't been solved. Basically here's the scoop. We have 4 cats.
Two cats hang out through the night and are happy to see us in the morning
(both for food an attention). The other two cats (a brother and sister,
strangely)...

I would say that even after a brushing a long haired cat can still get
hairballs. I would get a hairball remedy for her.

Cat using new carpet by
Cindy
Hi Group,
I just had new carpet installed in my home, and my cat has adopted the
corner of my livingroom to poop in. There is no urine smell, just poop.
She has a litterbox and it seems she is also using it.
When this started, I immediately cleaned the litterbox, and whenever I
saw her sniffing...

Greetings:
I am a new person posting here, and I desperately need your help.

morning, has dry food all day, and has plenty of fresh water. My

Microchipping by
KellyH
I am contemplating getting my cats microchipped, on the off chance they
might get outside and become lost. They are all indoor-only, one will dart
out the door occasionally, but he doesn't go far and I always get him back
in ASAP. All but one have on collars with name tags. The one that...

I work with a rescue group and we HOPE you can't resist. I have put over 100
cats through my house in the last 3 years and have only kept 2. There are
some you just can't resist.
Also, you should commend the rescue group for putting the info on the lynx
point. That should keep someone from...

Tuesdays with Dorrie (Update) by
Cowa Bungie
Everyone here was so kind when I posted two weeks ago--"Relocating
with an Old Cat." Well, to make the story short, I couldn't go
through with it. I couldn't put a cat so old through the pain of
moving from the mountains into an efficiency.
I know I'm putting her before myself; I've been told...

I'm in northern IN visiting my mom now (from AZ, where I live). This is the
first time I've met her kitty, Henry, my new brother. She got him last
December. He originally belonged to her hairdresser's daughter who had to get
rid of him (the old story) because she was getting married and had 2...

Glucosamine works for Meep! by

Hello. Just thought I'd post this, in case anyone else was thinking
of supplementing with Glucosamine-Chonidriotion (probably spelled
wrong). I'm using Drs Fosters and Smith "Joint Care", liver flavor
capsules, one per day, opened and sprinked on Meep's canned food.
I started this supplement for...

Sir Lancelot decided it is more fun to bat his chunks of food across
the floor than it is to eat them.... Now he does have lots of toys to
play with and 3 other cats. They sometimes will play with him and
sometimes they still don't want anything to do with him... I think
they are afraid of his...
