Caring for dogs by
Loving Pets
I am 8 months pregnant and recently my dog started acting very
strange. At first she started sleeping in the bed, right beside me, on
my pillows like a person would. And now in the past few days she has
started whining all the time if I don't constantly sit with her.
Yesterday she started walking...

cat eye problem. by
dragon
My female cat started very last night with an aggressive pawing at
her own eye, which seemed closed. I could not see anything in there
when I looked gently except it was obviously sore, She settled on
my bed for the night although her eye was closed, and all as quiet
until 3am when she...

Chelsea (the second of the "sponsored kitties") has been adopted by
MaryL
Good news! I wrote some time ago about the two kitties I was "sponsoring"
by paying for vetting, innoculations and spay/neuter (a male and a female).
The little male was adopted almost immediately -- although the ideal would
have been for them to be adopted as a pair -- and the little female...

behalf of the owner. yesterday I took the little lady to the vet and
it was done. I bought her home and once out of the carrier started
to tug at her...

A few pictures of Tortle (and friends) by

I have more pictures of my kitties elsewhere but I am not always on speaking
terms with my computer. One of these days I'll try to compile a few more.
Unfortunately the only cat in this group of photos still alive is Hailey,
Tortle's big fluffy brother. He is the fluffier...

CRF/Kidney Transplant by
WildWestCats
One of my kitties, Tribble, was diagnosed about 2 weeks ago with CRF.
She had lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time, which is what
precipitated a vet visit. Blood tests showed her BUN to be 64 and her
creatinine 5.3. For now, we're trying to manage this through diet. I
have 4 other cats...

cat wound by
bob
I have an outdoor semi-feral cat 3yrs old. She has gashes/wounds around her
tail, one on each hind hip, about a quarter in size. Happened about a week
ago, and I'm concerned that she has an infection. She eats, but seems a
little lethargic compared to normal.
Ideas what might've happened?
Is...

Cat's Claws by

[email protected]
Hi Group,
I just heard on Fox news channel a stroy about Tom the Cat I tink
you'll enjoy. His owner, a edlerly man, fell out of his wheel chair and
could not get up. Tom the cat went to the phone, knocked the reciever
off the hook and pushed the speed dial button for 911. Help arrived,
Tom the cat...

"rods" - what is it? by
minerva nine
Greetings all -- My 9-month old kitten was having some diarrhea, so I
took him in for a fecal exam and he has something the vet calls
"rods." I'd like to do some research on it, but I don't know the name
other than "rods." Does anybody know what this is? Vet tech said
they get it from drinking...
