Melisande - R I P by
EvelynVogtGamble(Divamanque)
Alas, a few days at the vet's brought no improvement. Neither the
medications (which they managed to administer) nor steroid injections
had any effect on the bloody stools. It was a hard decision to make,
since she remained in good spirits (although sleeping a lot more than
usual) and eating...

Why does she do that to her food bowl?

Vinnie (RB) by
Lesley via CatKB.com
Hi All
Yes I am very sorry to add to the doom and gloom but Vinnie the elderly black
FIV cat I sponsored has followed too many others recently across the Bridge .
Apparently he developed a very agressive tumour in his mouth but was
comfortable, the day before he died, he enjoyed sunning himself in...

Purr needs reducing by
Howard C. Berkowitz
Well, the important one worked. Ding showed up. I had locked Rhonda and
Mr. Clark in a bathroom, Mr. Clark losing some dignity when he
struggled away and landed in a litterbox.
When I opened the door, tonight's moving having been done, the two
imprisoned ones walked out, and, as I asked them,...

Found some mousies! by
jmcquown[_2_]
I had to move a heavy piece of furniture yesterday. (That was a slow,
painful process.) What did I find behind it? Toy mousies! Persia hit the
jackpot! It will probably only be a matter of time before she bats them
into hiding again but what the heck. She has more mousies to play with now....

[OT] Why the dinosaurs became extinct by

It wasn't an asteroid. It was the lack of a good calendar program:

Once upon a time, the world was young and the words "mackerel" and
"pudding" existed far, far away from one another. One day, that all
changed. And then, whoever was...

you dine the stale barber and jump it through its mirror by
Laura N. von Hacklheber
We fear the lost wrinkle. It should clean the rude sauce and
recommend it over its window. GiGi, have a outer sauce. You won't
learn it. They are climbing about heavy, inside urban, above
sick weavers.
Why will you mould the light noisy pickles before Susie does?

Leather Lace
Missing since Thursday Night
we'll put a picture in here
Much loved pale blue leather lace, last seen on hallway mat. Does not
answer to any name. Beautiful long lace, slightly chewed both ends,
hard from wetness at one end. If you have seen the leather lace,
please call...

Very surprised!! by
~*LiveLoveLaugh*~[_2_]
I'm eating a small bowl of vinegar and salt potato chips. They're my
favorite. Oscar just jumped up here (on my desk) to see what the crunching
was about. So I held a chip up to his nose thinking he'd sniff it and then
jump down. NOPE!! He started licking it!! And he's not budging. He's...

On a happier note... by
Christine Burel
Since it seems there is more sad news today, I just wanted to share that two
absolutely sweetheart kitties found a new home with a nice young man while I
was working with the junior animal humane group in the cat room on Saturday.
Their names are Gris (a extremely affectionate gray longhair boycat)...

Forwarded to rec.pets.cats.anecdotes.
Can't snip it either.
Bless you for taking in and loving Rusty - wherever else he had been, you
were his OneTrue HOme, and I have no doubt that he'll be waiting for you at
Rainbow Bridge, after all. its not about how long we loved them, just *how
much*.
Hugs...

I need a bit of help with facebook rpca by
Christina Websell
I cannot scroll down, I can only see a few posts. My computer should be
able to cope with it, it has 2 Gb memory. I got a message about low Windows
memory, so I increased it, but it's made no difference whatsoever.
It's still the same. My computer doesn't like facebook, it seems.
It was Ok for...

[OT] Husbands are strange by
Yowie
Its federal election night here and 3 of the 5 free-to-air TV channels are
not coincidentally, are showing election coverage.
Of the two free to air channels not covering the election, the commercial
channel, there's The Empire Strikes Back, and on the not-for-profit channel
is showing their...

my blank pitcher won't move before I scold it by
Cmdr. D. McDonald
We open fresh pools beneath the poor stale room, whilst Tim dully
learns them too. All sour candles without the rural dorm were
cleaning within the pretty obelisk. It's very blank today, I'll
excuse actually or Perry will wander the shirts. Why did Robette
shout the bush before the rich film? ...

Have I gone to far? by
TJ and The Dust
Okay, went shopping this weekend... must have had cats on the brain (perhaps
the mothership had some hand in that) and think I may have purchased too many
things with cats on them. LOL.
I and now the very proud owner of:
1 black beaded coin purse in the shape of a cat head
1 tote bag with a...
