Will this work to get rid of fleas? by
Mike
I found some flea drops at a store that only contain the IGR Precor
(methoprene). So they're only good for preventing the eggs from
maturing for up to three months. If I use that on my indoor only cats
and brush them with a flea comb at least once a day, will that be a
good enough flea control for...

bathroom adventures with Levi by
Lynne
This kitten cracks me up. I put a litter box in the master bathroom when
we brought him home so I could isolate him for a while. There are 2 others
in the basement, but I still have this one up here, right next to the
toilet. Since I use Feline Pine, it actually smells good (and I scoop...

Is there a correlation between fur softness and length? I know diet
influences the coat some, but these guys all eat the same stuff.

My kitten's cat-sonality by
Don Liu
I just got two kittens: from same litter, both female, they are just
over 10 weeks now. It is quite interesting to watch them play. But I
found they seem to have different cat-sonality.
They are both demestic medium hair, but one's hair is longer than the
other. The longer hair kitten is also...

Rhinotracheitis and fertility by
redpenner
My female kitten has chronic rhinotracheitis; her first flare-up was at about 5 weeks; she was very
sick at the time. She has another flare-up anytime she is under stress, and has constant sneezing
and runny eye. We keep an eye on her condition and she is doing really well.
She got her "adult...

Judging a good cat sitter by
in Chicago - North via CatKB.com
Any suggestions about how to judge whether a cat sitter is good or not?
I've interviewed a few, they seem nice. One does it after work, the other
is full time, plus she has references (but how can you trust those). They
both made cooing noises with cat and seem fine -
I just saw baby-sitters...

Cat doesn't like catnip by
Mazan
I'd like to know if every cat should get a dose of catnip or ordinary grass
as a nutritional supplement. I've tried putting some near my baby's
drinking bowl but she's never touched it. Any suggestions of alternative
vitamin sources? Would she suffer from any kind of deficiency if she...

Rescued mother cat by
Amy V via CatKB.com
Hello -
About 3 weeks ago, my husband and I rescued a litter of 4 kittens in our
neighborhood. After fostering them with lots of help and guidance from our
local VSA volunteers, they all have new homes.
We had seen momma kitty when she was pregnant, but could never trap her or
even get close. She...
